4 Piazza Cesare Battisti, 18038, Sanremo
Been here?
Large paid parking area open 24 hours, very close to Sanremo city centre, with no services. It is considered relatively safe and quiet overnight, but recent reports describe very high charges, including 56€ for about 18h and 149.40 euro for a stay from 02:52 until 23:59 the following day. Vehicles over 5 metres long or 2 metres wide are prohibited.

Warning! Very expensive! We paid €56 for approximately 18 hours. If that does not put you off, you get a very central and relatively quiet and safe overnight parking spot.
Expensive, but we felt very safe there at night.
I entered at 2:52 a.m. on February 27, 2026, and left on February 28, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. I PAID 149.40 euros..... At a campsite in Livigno during the Olympics, I paid 70 euros from Friday to Sunday.....
With a 7 m campervan, we paid 7.50 for 3 hours, just enough time for a quick pizza and a brief walk around the center. I can't find another solution in Sanremo.
Very close to the Center but impossible to find parking on a Saturday when there is a market and lots of French tourist flock the town. We had to leave again to go further towards the sports fields where it was a lot easier to park.
I'm passing by it now and can see many large motorhomes. I had parked next to the free stadium.
Warning: parking is now only permitted for vehicles up to 5 meters long. There is a corresponding sign at the entrance. You should avoid taking a camper into town from here.
€40 for 3 hours… with our Sprinter we only took one parking space too… everywhere it says €1.80 per hour until you pay!!
Excellent parking for visiting Sanremo. We paid €7.20 for 4 hours, enough time to climb to the top of the old village and have lunch at a restaurant, as well as walk along the main street and little alleys. There are bins but no facilities because it is simply a large parking lot.
Signs prohibit vehicles over 5 m long and 2 m wide. Buses and several motorhomes were parked there. Perfect location, €8 for 2 hours. Beware: the payment machine at the entrance is defective; use the one inside the parking lot along the beach toward the center.
No facilities. Perfect for visiting the city. But it is very expensive!!!!!
Parking prohibited for vehicles over 5 m long and 2 m wide.....
Excellent parking for visiting Sanremo center or taking a walk along the cycle path. Seafront. No facilities. A little expensive, but fine for a few hours.
Excellent location, only a 10-minute walk from the center, opposite the beach, with no facilities whatsoever. The only drawback is the cost: €64 for a 24-hour stay... The signs indicate an hourly cost for motorhomes of €1.80, but checking the full regulations via the QR code reveals that vehicles over 5 m and up to 9 m are charged a 50% surcharge.
A stone's throw from the center and the sea. It costs €1.80/hour during the day and a little less at night. But it is worth staying 24 hours because the flat rate is €18! Water fountains are on the cycle path toward Ventimiglia. The area to stop is the one at the far end, where the buses are also parked. Do not stop earlier because there is a 4-hour limit and size restrictions.
We stayed one night in this parking lot on December 25; parking was free because of the Christmas holidays. Very convenient for reaching the center, 100 m from the casino and just over 100 m from the Ariston Theater, right by the sea. No facilities whatsoever.
Great place to visit San Remo. Marked as prohibited for vehicles over 5 m long and 2 m wide, but on October 11 we stayed parked for more than 3 hours with our 7 m vehicle without any problem and at a reasonable price (€6.30).
A good parking spot for exploring the city, expensive and spacious.
Many campers, so I felt safe as a woman traveling alone with a dog. Right by the sea, beautiful view, and very quiet at night! Very busy during the day. Very central; the old town and harbor are quickly accessible. Highly recommended!
Parking lot that is not too expensive and spacious, perfect for the day. But beware of weekend nights: several very noisy bars and nightclubs nearby...
People come here to party and lean against the car. Not suitable at night…
First parking lot: Seafront parking, fairly easy to access. The price is very affordable: €1.80/hour, and it is free at night from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. We slept in our car and had no problems with noise or anything else.
