A very quiet, shaded riverside spot with a picnic table and barbecue, although barbecues are prohibited in summer. Access through the village is very narrow, while the final 200 metres are compacted dirt; it suits smaller vehicles better, though a 7,4 mts motorhome has reached it. Water releases can raise the Douro and Tormes by at least 3/4m.

The place is particularly pleasant. The remains of the old mill are worth seeing. Be careful: we witnessed several water releases that caused the level of the Douro and Torme to rise by at least 3–4 metres. Access to the village can be very narrow.
I do not really understand the 4x4 category... The road is paved all the way down. Warning: the upper village has very narrow streets and is not suitable for large white ships... Otherwise, a superb spot, absolutely quiet. WARNING: GPS sometimes brings you from the other side of the river via a ford, impossible unless you have a 4x4 prepared for crossing.
A perfect spot for a swim. We were here with the dog and she loved it... shade, tables, river. The road takes you through the village, difficult for motorhomes, fine for vans and cars. It looks like you are going nowhere and then you find this perfect, peaceful corner. Beautiful photos here.
We arrived with a motorhome without any problem. The access is paved except for the last 200 metres, which are very compacted dirt. A superb place for one night. Be careful passing through the village; a 7.4-metre motorhome can get through, but you should check it on foot first.
