Coastal stop, rough approach

We arrived in the late afternoon, with space left for about three campers. Many people with dogs, very friendly. At low tide, it is possible to take a lovely walk by the water. We may stop here again on the return journey. Highly recommended.

A great overnight stop over looking out to sea. Quiet at night , with regular dog walkers, runners and the odd vehicle on the pot holed track in the day time. Off lead opportunities for dogs on the coast path and the pebbled beach and plenty of bins. No other services.

I was only stopping 1 night and it ended up being 2. Right in front of the ocean and stone beach. The site entrance isn't pretty with the potholes but they are avoidable with care. A safe stopover with a great coastal - (going onto promenade walk) if you keep going. I would easily recommend this spot.

Lovely spot steps from the sea. Quiet. We arrived at 6:30pm there were 3 MH parked. Within 30 minutes another arrived, making us 5. Friendly locals, lots of dog walkers in the evening. Phone reception is quite poor so remote workers might be challenged. Other than that, highly recommended. Thank you to the local community for being so kind.

Perfect stay, pot holes are avoidable,sea views, sunsets behind, didn't see the sun rise as very quiet undisturbed sleep that I slept in. Very friendly local dog walkers. Felt very safe, mother and daughter exploring Kent. 6 motorhomes when we were there but would have got more in if drivers reversed facing the sea rather than park up length ways against the wall.

Only one other here on a weekday evening, locals friendly with many dog walkers chatting in the morning. Such a beautiful sunrise over the water, best nights sleep I’ve had in the van so far

Stayed here on Monday the 9th. Four others were here. The potholes are not too bad. Quiet night, with no wind, so everything was fine.

It is an amazing place to stay either for the day or the night. We woke up to some fantastic views and would definitely stay there again. Beware, though, as the road isn't the best.

Lovely little park up on the coast. Felt very safe as lone female. I stayed during stormy weather and the lane does retain a lot of water disguising the many large potholes. Also a fair bit of coming and going all night to the assisted living care home next door

Lovely and calm, didn't stay the night, but I'd expect a good night sleep. Can get windy so park with front or rear facing the sea to prevent wind wobble. A few cars passing throughout the day,I guess it calms down at night time. Worth the visit!!! Be aware it can get very wet and has some deep puddles so if you haven't much lift, you may end up scraping your undercarriage.

I have stopped here several times now, most recently last week. Beautiful in summer, just yards from the sea, with very peaceful evenings. Obviously busier in summer, with room for about six vans.

Beautiful parking spot for self-sufficient campers, with a superb sunrise over the sea. Yes, there are potholes and corresponding puddles, but even with a 7 m van and no 4x4 it was not a problem. Overall quiet, with a few locals also driving through at night. At the other end of the road, Ed parks his coffee tuk-tuk in the morning. Check him out on Instagram and be sure to visit!

lovely sea view down a bit of a bumpy road with potholes so beware , if you can come in from madeira avenue you cut 3 quarters of them out. Room for 10 campervans at least. Quite, safe, locals very friendly, lovely peaceful evening with the sound of the sea in background. no problems with 3 wifi network on our TV and Vodafone on our phones

Excellent free stop, with no trouble from the locals. There are usually a couple of vans here, so you can stop and chat. It may be noisy overnight if dinghies arrive from France, but it is a lottery.

Great spot. as mentioned by others the road is bumpy with medium sized potholes. Plenty of room for 10 or more vans.

Lovely stopover with a sea view. Unmade road, some potholes but nothing serious. Room for at least 10 campervans/motorhomes. Quiet night with very little traffic. Room to park facing the sea with space to sit outside. Plenty of dog walkers and friendly locals. Excellent restaurants in town.

A quiet and pleasant night! As mentioned above, lots of potholes and a badly damaged dirt road, but it is still possible to find a level spot. Many people walk their dogs here, and they are all very friendly. I recommend it!

A really beautiful place. Ideal for dogs too. A beach walk in the evening followed by a quiet night. Perfect. We would return anytime!

Wonderful sunrise and quiet night. Unfortunately, no services at all.

We went to park here, but it was quite busy! We found a little spot farther back before this one, and it was perfect. Woke up to sea views.

Top spot ! Whilst I wouldn’t want to drive down that road / track in the rain, and all the massive potholes disguised as mere puddles, I had a beautiful dry and sunny day to run the slalom. Just two other MHs and myself. Great chat with walkers passing by, and a lovely calm evening with the sound of the waves crashing on the pebble beach. Great !

After a long drive towards Dover for a ferry, this was a lovely spot for an overnight stop. Nice quick walk along the coast in the morning with lots of friendly locals.

As others have said, the access is a bit bumpy but it's not an issue. Great little spot for an overnight before catching the Eurotunnel. We dropped lucky with gorgeous weather and a calm sea during our stay. Quite peaceful, with just friendly dog walkers passing by Highly recommended.

Very pleasant spot, very quiet at night, with some traffic during the day. We came with a 7.5 m motorhome and it was perfect. The access road is a little rough. But during the rising tide, we were surprised to see a seal fishing.
