418 Strandvejen, 6854, Henne
Been here?
A large campsite near Henne Strand, with the beach about 800 m away and facilities including a spa, sauna, fitness center, dog shower, and restaurant. Recent experiences of the sanitary facilities vary from very clean and new to poor or dirty when the site is busy. The restaurant is on site, but shopping and bread service are not reliably available.

Easy to reach, as it is right on the main road, which ends in the neighboring town. You should arrive on time, though, as there are hardly any free parking spaces on site, so it is best to drive straight onto the pitch. Some facilities on the site could be better signposted. Many products and services on site are quite expensive. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Nice site with a pleasant atmosphere. But I don't understand why this site is supposed to have 5.5 stars. A nice, tidy site, but definitely not 5.5-star luxury. Unfortunately, it is quite far from the beach. The showers are operated strangely.
A really lovely and very neat campsite, with a superb location. The pitches are spacious, and electricity and water taps are easy to access. The toilet block is extremely clean and new; an added bonus is the dog shower. A beautiful beach is just a few minutes' walk away, where dogs are welcome on a lead. You walk through a charming village with shops and terraces. All in all, excellent!
Not 5.5 stars; there are much better sites. The sanitary facilities are pathetic and far from deserving those stars. The restaurant is overpriced, there are no shopping facilities on site, and the bread service is just a camper's daydream. At reception you are treated like a number. Everything costs extra, despite the pitch price.
Let's start with the positive aspects: the location is really excellent, it is not far from the beach, and there is a dog shower. On the negative side: the campsite was very crowded when we were there (a public holiday in Germany in mid-May), so the sanitary facilities were very dirty.
Beautiful, well-organized campsite close to the beach. We stayed here for two nights before Whitsun and paid 766 DKK (2 people with a dog), which was a bargain compared with Hvidbjerg Strand Holiday Park.
12 March 2026 Not exactly cheap, but a very well-maintained site. Water available on the pitch. We also recommend visiting the adjoining Café HAV restaurant.
Very nice site with really friendly staff. Unfortunately, I could only stay for one night. It is also a great site in winter. I thought the sanitary facilities were excellent. What more could you want? I did not try the restaurant or other services during my short stay. I will recommend this site and would gladly return in summer.
Very nice site right in the town and not far from the beautiful sandy beach. A 5.5-star site? The bathroom and waste disposal were rather average for that rating.
We stayed there over New Year's Eve to escape the fireworks from Germany. A great place for that: very quiet, with only some nearby noise around midnight, but completely acceptable. Our dog was more relaxed than in a long time. Also excellent facilities, nice staff, the beach 800 m away, and the town in between. Highly recommended! We will be back!
Everything tip-top. The site is worth the money.
Superb campsite. Very clean sanitary facilities. Everything you need is within walking distance. We especially liked the swimming pool with saunas and fitness area. The restaurant is also recommended, whether for breakfast or dinner. We will be back.
The site is certainly not cheap, but the whole package on offer is excellent. We don't need the bread service; the bakery is only a few meters away. The sanitary facilities were tip-top, reception very friendly, and the site clean and well maintained. The location is great, with the town and beautiful beach quickly reachable.
Excellent motorhome area with good sanitary facilities. Expensive, but worth the money.
A beautifully designed site, terraced and very well maintained. The on-site brewery is naturally worth seeing, and the beer tastes very good! Unfortunately, the brasserie is closed on Sundays and Mondays. It is a shame that the waste disposal area is unsuitable for large liners. Access through the barrier is also no real pleasure with a 10-meter motorhome.
A clean, easily accessible site with sufficiently large pitches. I don't know where the 5.5-star rating comes from; no one could explain it to us either. In the low season, 80 euros for two people with a motorhome over 8 m is very expensive, and you expect a lot for that. There is no black-water disposal accessible to larger motorhomes. The restaurant serves no dinner on Saturdays or Sundays.
We did not like the site. The front sanitary building is showing its age; with 5.5 stars, you expect more. It is cramped and expensive, and compared with another site in the same price range, too little is included.
The site was very full and rather noisy at our pitch. The sanitary buildings are okay. No bread service. Maybe it was because of the pitch, but we did not feel comfortable. Certainly more suitable for families with children.
Expensive and run-down—do not go there!
