Shaded village area, variable opening

We emptied the grey water, and the kiosk manager asked for €3, as written at the water filling point. Apparently it is no longer free, but we had no other choice because there seems to be nothing else nearby.

Extraordinary! A large area with more than 25 shaded spaces, free electricity for everyone, everything free. A toilet, shower, washbasin for dishes, laundry sink, picnic tables, books, board games, pétanque court and barbecue! A providential gem found by chance after an exhausting day of driving.

Quiet camper area, pitches a little basic but perfect for one or two nights. Great starting point for easy walks, and a charming village with a bakery, grocery store, bar and restaurant at the “Antagonisti”... Friendly manager, kiosk and barbecue stations. Recommended!

Lovely area with a kind manager. Water filling and emptying are included in the price, as is electricity, although the latter is below 1 kW. Plenty of space for excursions all around. Too bad the sanitary facilities are a little undersized for the capacity, and that it is close to a fairly busy road. Above all, it is a shame that the church bell rings every hour, even at night.

Convenient camper area. A little noisy during the day because of cars passing on the main road just above the area. Very friendly manager. When it is closed, it is free; when open, you only pay for the night.

Excellent stopping area in the middle of nature with all services available. Starting point for several trails for trekking enthusiasts. The manager is always helpful and attentive to every need. Five well-deserved stars!

Arrived today and very impressed. Lovely place with clean toilets and showers with hot water. Waste disposal and dishwashing. Small kiosk where you pay; you can also sit there and have coffee or something else. Very nice operator. €10 per night including electricity, toilet and shower. Great hiking trails. A major road runs past the site. Located directly at the entrance to Melle.

A very, very good stopover. For a very modest price of €10, you get a nice pitch, access to toilets, a dishwashing sink, waste emptying, etc. Shower for 50 cents. At the foot of a charming village, with 2 restaurants, 2 grocery stores/bakeries for essentials, and walking trails starting nearby. All good.

We stopped only for lunch; the manager was more than hospitable, spectacular. He let us sit down and park. Nice area with shaded pitches and electrical hookups. We are at about 680 m above sea level, and it could be a good base for cycling trips. The municipality of Melle deserves praise.

Spectacular camper-area manager, always attentive and helpful.

Very friendly staff. Clean, easily accessible area, with one reasonably clean bathroom, but no toilet paper or soap. There is no water near the pitches. Very fair price. Close to the centre of Melle, which has no shops, so you need to arrive with your groceries already organized.

Excellent camper area. Equipped with everything. There is even a shelf with books to read. The little bar is convenient both for breakfast and for a beer. €10, everything included.

I agree with the previous reviews and clarify that the electricity is 3 amps.
