235 Allée de la Source, 64500, Saint-Jean-de-Luz
Been here?
Well-located four-star campsite steps from the sea with restaurant and pool. €33 per pitch with electricity, though prices vary seasonally; ACSI card accepted. Narrow access roads challenge large vehicles. Recent visitors praise friendly reception and clean facilities, but report noise issues and question value for money.

Everything is fine, but we have experienced better value for money. The restaurant is good and the pool is okay, but rather functional and not particularly attractive. Access roads to the pitches are quite narrow and difficult for larger vehicles. Showers are okay, but not always 100% clean when many people come back from the beach. The beach itself is pebbly and has seaweed, but is sheltered in a bay, so the waves and currents are not as strong, making it better for children. Overall, everything is rather average; we probably will not return.
Great site in an excellent location. Super-friendly welcome. The first pitch was still very muddy, so we were immediately allowed to choose another. Very clean sanitary facilities. The pool was good. ACSI accepted. We would gladly return. If you want to cycle into town, be aware of some significant climbs.
Clean campsite, perhaps a little expensive: €33 for three people with electricity in April.
We were so pleased that the two campsites at the front were full or did not appeal to us. That is how we found this slightly hidden site, and we are absolutely delighted. Super-friendly welcome, excellent pitches with water and electricity, and an impressive sea view—even from the second row. We will gladly return!
I absolutely recommend it. ACSI campsite. Large pitches. Immaculate sanitary facilities, always clean, with hot water. Excellent restaurant. A stone's throw from the ocean. Everything you need for a pleasant stay. We stayed for 5 days.
Very nice campsite and an excellent starting point for exploring the city by bicycle. An e-bike would be an advantage because of the uphill and downhill sections. We would come again.
The campsite is magnificent and very well maintained; the pitch, with direct access to the beach, is superb. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are dirty—we stayed for two days and the toilet floor was not cleaned. The reception staff were also cold and condescending. A shame, but it does not deserve its four stars.
A very nice campsite, not too large, directly by the sea, with a pool, baguettes in the morning, and very tasty pizza in the evening.
Very beautifully located campsite right by the sea, €20 with ACSI, a good price. The new sanitary block was okay.
Campsite fairly clean but expensive and noisy. No consideration in the evening or at night; traffic continues all night. Who manages this campsite? Entertainment, pool, and location are very good. We left earlier, but nobody at reception seemed to care.
Charming, human-sized campsite by the sea. Flat pitches separated by small hedges. The campsite restaurant is very good and the staff are very friendly. 15–20 minutes by bicycle from Saint-Jean-de-Luz. There is also a regular shuttle. A two-minute walk along the seafront takes you to a very pleasant bar with live music. Clean sanitary facilities.
This campsite is very expensive. For two people and a small campervan under 5 metres, they wanted to charge €85. We left again.
We enjoyed this campsite, almost on the seafront, with a pool, relatively shaded, and a fairly decent restaurant. It is a long walk to the village—better by bicycle, although there is also a bus—which is lively and very beautiful. €53 per night for two people, a van, and electricity.
Great experience. Large pitches and clean sanitary facilities. Excellent restaurant with a varied menu and reasonable prices, plus a very friendly team. The only small drawback is the lack of a proper shop at normal prices. We recommend it.
Excellent campsite. We intended to stay one night but ended up staying three days. Impeccable sanitary facilities, heated pool, small on-site restaurant, and fresh bread in the morning. A stone's throw from the seafront, where there are also some nice restaurants. 35 minutes on foot from the city centre via the coastal paths. €25 per night for a motorhome and two people, or €20 with the Privilege card, which costs €25 and is valid indefinitely, obviously outside peak season.
Very nice campsite next to the beach, very quiet. We took a last-minute pitch for €27.50 for two people with electricity in May. The sanitary facilities are clean and the staff helpful. Nothing to complain about. In rainy weather, bring a tarp, but it is not too bad.
Beautifully located in a bay 5 km before Saint-Jean-de-Luz. The coastal path running directly past the site makes it easy to reach the city centre by bicycle or on foot. Biarritz is also reachable. Fantastic views of the cliffs. There are continuous steep climbs and descents. The site is beautifully divided into pitches and the spaces are large. The sanitary facilities are excellent. The exterior door is useful on cold days.
Very beautiful, well-maintained campsite. Very clean and spacious sanitary facilities, washing machine and dryer, pleasant pitch, €25.72 for one motorhome and two adults with electricity. Sea view and direct access to the beach. I recommend it.
Our second time at this campsite in October. We stayed for five nights. With ACSI, €20 for two people with electricity and a camper. New sanitary building. Friendly staff. The beach is right outside the campsite. Saint-Jean-de-Luz is easily reached by bicycle. Some disturbance from the main road, which you hear continuously.
If I could give them more stars I would. Emailed night before, on fully serviced pitch by 10:00 next morning. Spotless site and facilities with very friendly staff. 20€/night inc tourist tax.
Very nice campsite close to the beach. The food in the restaurant, including the vegetarian burger, was also very tasty.
Excellent campsite just a stone's throw from the beach, very clean, welcoming staff, pleasant pool, and large pitches. Close to public transport for Biarritz, Saint-Jean-de-Luz, and San Sebastián. On-site restaurant with good value for money and a beachside dance café.
Very nice family-friendly campground. Called ahead and got a last-minute place during high season.
Well organised, clean, good location close to beach. Friendly, helpful staff. Restaurant serving good food with friendly staff. Also, there are a couple of beach bars. Lovely sandy beach.
