I spent 2 wonderful nights here. Bohemian paradise is amazing. So yes I would break down the toilet building and build something Swedish dry toilet style... but also I only saw very happy people enjoying the outdoors and I loved falling asleep to the sound of all the little campfires. So a big 5 stars for me and a cold shower after a day cycling in the sun is not too bad.
Four stars for the location, peace and atmosphere. You should not expect anything, but 200 CZK is nothing to complain about. Very friendly owner and his right-hand man. The nature is wonderful, perfect for walking and cycling.
Very rustic and natural campsite. The owner is nice; communication is partly in German and Czech, no English. There is a water point, toilets and an outdoor shower in a practical condition, but no electricity. Beware of many spiders. There are fire pits, but people also simply make fires on the lawn, always with a stone surround. We felt comfortable and safe; wonderful nature.
We stayed here for one night in the car. We paid €8. The shower and toilet are really not recommended; we would rather have gone in the bushes. Otherwise, there was a friendly atmosphere at the camp. Quiet location. But only recommended if you are self-sufficient.
If you come for peace and want to experience life in nature a little, this is the place to be! It is a large, well-maintained grassy field surrounded by forest. You can make a small campfire. A self-sufficient camper is useful because the shower and toilet are not clean and there is only cold water. An older man manages the site; he speaks no English, only German and Czech. He is a very kind man.
Beautiful location, but you have to be able to tolerate the showers and toilets not being clean. The owner is friendly and speaks only Czech and a little German. Remember to bring the exact amount in cash.
The real camping experience! A stretch of grass, a tap with only cold water and dry toilets. But the setting is magnificent and peaceful. 190 crowns for one night—what more could you ask for? The hikes in the area are very good.
If you can do without the luxury of a clean toilet and a hot shower, this is a beautiful place to stay. The toilet is a hole in the ground and the shower is supplied by a water tank. Everything is very basic. You can take beautiful walks and bike rides. There is a lovely ruin nearby and the chalk cliffs are a 25-minute drive away. Definitely have a beer at the little bar next to the campsite.
A nice, quiet place. Only cold, potable water is available at the campsite. Dry toilet. These things do not bother us at all; on the contrary, I appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and pleasant location. It is possible to make a campfire. The price for one night for a car with a rooftop tent, two adults and one child (3 years old) was CZK 150.
If you like things simple and want to stay in the middle of a national park beside a lake, this is exactly the right place. If you have everything on board, you will find it very pleasant here. Where else can you make an open fire in a national park right in front of your campervan? There is even cold water for rinsing; the toilets are natural.
What a wonderful place, as if time had stood still. There was nothing, but in my mind there was everything. Lovely walks with the dogs, and a kiosk where you can have a beer. Yes, this is what a motorhome site should be like.
This is a special little place. The owner comes across as a bit odd but is actually extremely friendly. He really speaks only Czech, but does his very best to communicate. Do not expect any facilities. The toilets are a hole in the ground and the “shower” is a dark shed with only cold water. No electricity. But the place is charming, with fire pits and drinking water. €6 per night :)
Perfect! Green, quiet and lovely caretaker. Not a word english but still trys his best to communicate. Supplies some bottles drinkinh water. Weekend people come who have a standard place there. Very friendly. Our daughter played with a lovely girl for 3 days. Nice walking and cycling paths. There is water for dishwashing. Toilets not reccomend going. Showers cold but oke. Trashcans and cheap.
