17 Obere Dorfstraße, 16307, Mescherin
Been here?
A small, quiet campsite directly on the Oder, with a firm, passable grass field and a small riverside beach. The sanitary facilities are currently described as clean, and showers cost 1.50€ for 4min; payment is only in cash. A restaurant is next door, and bread rolls may be available on request. The Polish border crossing is 4km away, while mosquitoes and free-roaming cats may be relevant for some visitors.

We drove away immediately after being welcomed very rudely. I was told not to park even one meter from the awning of an already parked motorhome, although there was plenty of space. When I moved farther away, she accused me of not understanding. I cannot say anything about the other facilities. The parking spaces themselves are sometimes quite sloped.
A clean, peaceful and cozy overnight spot. The morning sun was lovely. A hotplate in the kitchen would be useful. We were surprised that payment was cash only. We drove to a nearby village in the morning to find an ATM.
A lovingly run small campsite. The sanitary facilities are clean, and the proximity to the Oder provides impressive nature experiences. We saw many migratory birds and a beaver. Mosquito protection is recommended. The restaurant next door also offers a wide selection.
We stayed one night with a motorhome and two dogs: €29 plus €1.50 shower tokens. Pleasant guests, and the hosts had a somewhat brusque but perhaps locally typical friendliness: “ID!” Showers clean, site clean. Mescherin is a very nice place, unfortunately without an ice-cream shop, bakery or similar; only one restaurant directly next to the campsite, cash payment only there!
Everything was fine. Very quiet place; the loudest thing was the migratory birds :D For dog owners, however, this may be interesting: several cats roam freely here. An older tomcat seems to be part of the inventory and keeps his distance. The many young cats are apparently feral or strays and much more curious.
Small, nice campsite. Friendliness depends on the staff on duty. Wi-Fi is free and good. Sanitary facilities are okay. Shower machines are really outdated.
Small but pleasant site. Three toilets and three showers, unfortunately not very clean. You have to buy shower tokens: four minutes for €1.50. Overall, in our opinion, overpriced.
Great, fairly small site, not too crowded. It has everything you need. The two women who manage the site are extremely kind and helpful. We originally only wanted to stay one night, and now it has become three. Very quiet and stress-free.
Very cozy campsite on the Oder, with good service. The sanitary area is clean. We would gladly come back :)
Very small campsite with some extremely sloped pitches; large leveling blocks are essential. The swimming area on the Oder is very small, with the rest overgrown with reeds. The sanitary facilities are a catastrophe; nobody has cleaned them for days. Campers without fly screens will have a problem here, as sitting outside is impossible after 8 p.m. because of the many mosquitoes.
A true nature campsite. Ideal for those seeking peace and quiet. Beautifully nestled in nature. The Oder, including swimming areas directly at the site, is wonderful. The site is basic. The sanitary facilities are new but no longer very clean in the evening and morning. Small shop on site with bread rolls, drinks, etc. Friendliness depends somewhat on the operator present.
Lovely little site. We stayed here for an evening and night. Payment must be made in cash.
