Peaceful riverside area, free showers

We spent two very peaceful nights. It is very level, with the village nearby and restaurants and supermarkets, plus emptying and filling facilities. We will return.✦Translating

A very quiet site behind the sports centre, with good access, well-marked motorhome spaces, and a water-dumping area at one corner. When we arrived, we saw skid marks on the asphalt and feared the worst, but it was an extremely quiet night, even though it was Friday. Thank you for rest areas like this.✦Translating

One of the best free motorhome areas we have encountered. Emptying and filling facilities are well maintained, and the water pressure is excellent. We stayed overnight for many nights because we needed a mechanic and other things available in the village. Thanks to the municipality for providing this opportunity.✦Translating

In addition to everything mentioned by others, I would add that the grey building almost opposite—the sports centre—has bathrooms with hot showers from Monday to Friday for those staying overnight in the area. This was checked with the town hall and confirmed by the mayor. We spent money in the village; at the A Ras restaurant they have a tasty menu at a good price. Delimited and very spacious parking area. It is shared with cars, but in separate zones. The water filling and emptying facilities work very well and are clean. The parking spaces are level, and beside the stream there are two shaded spaces. It is right in the village of Bembibre, which has every kind of service. It is not well signposted; it is better to use GPS. Extremely quiet.✦Translating
