Been here?
A bivouac area currently inaccessible as of October 2025 due to an electric fence. When access was possible, the site offered picnic tables, dry toilets, and quiet surroundings for swimming and hiking. High clearance or 4x4 vehicle required due to rough terrain. Mosquitoes present.

A nice little spot with some snow still remaining at this time of year. BBQ area, clean toilet, and completely alone!Translating
No more access at the moment because there is an electric fence in between.Translating
Quiet place, several other campers with us but no problem; there is plenty of space.Translating
Quiet and spacious site. There was a cable acting as a fence, but it can be opened. Picnic areas, rubbish bins, and even a bathroom, although it was dirty.Translating
This place is nice. It lacks a beautiful mountain view. The toilets are there but really not clean. There is space in high season. Only five of us stayed behind the site that night. Just below the road, with some traffic at night. Otherwise, a lovely shady place with picnic tables, a water tap, dry toilet, and free access.Translating
Very beautiful spot, thank you :-) A little busy, but there is room.Translating
Perfect for one night. We were alone, with practical dry toilets. Pleasant and quiet place; the bivouac area is well arranged. Recommended.Translating
Very pleasant and peaceful place. We spent a very pleasant night there. Convenient dry toilets.Translating
If there had not been mosquitoes, it would have been a 10 out of 5. Very quiet and genuinely pleasant. This is the second year we have spent one night here, and certainly not the last.Translating
Excellent place: rubbish bin, barbecue, picnic table, dry toilets, and mobile signal. But they must turn off the water in winter—too bad!Translating
Very quiet, with toilets and bins nearby, and even a barbecue. Hiking trailhead and bivouac area. Please respect this place, thank you.Translating
Excellent place! Walking trail starting right next door. You can brush your teeth using the drinking-water tap. Very quiet, with a view of the cable-car cabins, rocks for climbing, picnic table, etc. Note: a sign says parking is limited to one night.Translating
Good access for a small van. Very quiet place with good views. Composting toilet and good mobile coverage. We spent a perfect night.Translating
Very beautiful bivouac area. It is limited to one night. Picnic tables, dry toilets, and a water point. Perfect. The site is well isolated. You can hear a few cars passing, but it is not disturbing. Many thanks to the municipality for providing this lovely space.Translating
Arrived at night. Good bivouac area; access was easy after the wire on the right when arriving, and of course close it again behind you. Few flat spaces—four or five—but that was not a problem for us. We slept well. Picnic table, rubbish bin, water, ecological toilet, and barbecue available on site. Everything was fairly clean. Bivouac from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. There were four vehicles that day. Hiking trailhead nearby.Translating
Superb spot for spending the night. Be sure to pass through the wire barrier. There is a tap available, and the dry toilets are present and functional. We had a great night!Translating
