Been here?
A small motorhome area at a marina with 6 pitches, some beside the water and close to a pleasant town. Advance reservation is recommended, and the harbor master is friendly and helpful. Facilities are clean and include showers, but access to the toilets and showers is unavailable from 22:00 to 8:30 Uhr, with no washing-up facilities during the day. Nights can be noisy because the area is publicly accessible.

Magnificent, impeccable place. All included services are operational. The manager's welcome is warm. Remember to reserve; I did so by email and received a very quick reply. Thanks to the marina for making this available to motorhome travelers.
Very good place at the yacht harbor. Everything worked wonderfully after reserving in advance. Very nice harbor master and very good service! Thank you very much; we would be happy to return.
A great parking area, especially in the off-season, because it is freely accessible. We would gladly have paid something for our overnight stay, but everything depends on the harbor master. If you're self-sufficient, you don't need anything anyway ;-) It was a very quiet night, and in the morning we could watch the boats on the canal. To walk the dogs, you only need to step outside—great!
The nicest spots with a view are the ones by the water. Fine facilities, but the rules concerning water and toilet use are very complicated and unnecessary. See the other comments. The harbor masters are friendly. Don't let them send you into the neighborhood when it's full; then you're crammed into a postage-stamp-sized spot next to a house for far too much money.
Spaces for six vehicles in total, sometimes with sufficient distance between them, with marked restricted areas so awnings and seating can be used. Lovers of absolute silence are not in the right place here. The location directly by the water and the pleasant town were convincing.
Attention: From 10 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. there is no access whatsoever to the toilets and showers! There is also no possibility to wash dishes at any time! Both are unacceptable! Completely unsuitable for camper vans. It is also rather noisy at night because it is accessible to everyone. Harbor master Jan is very friendly.
Attention, we arrived at 5:30 p.m. and all the spaces were occupied. The previous review says you can stay in the adjacent parking lot, but we stopped there and at midnight security arrived and made us leave!
We stayed for one night and, when booking, had asked to remain until Friday afternoon so we could go to the cheese market, but we were not told that this was impossible. We nevertheless had to leave on Friday morning. Fortunately, there is a public parking lot opposite where we could move the motorhome. Otherwise, nothing to complain about; the toilets and showers were clean.
The very kind manager found us a place even though it was full there and at all the campsites and areas nearby, since the Alkmaar cheese market was being held the next day! Harbor area with new, clean showers and toilets in a quiet area, and a children's park very close by. For us, a perfect place!!
They sent us to a house where they asked for €16 to sleep on the pavement outside their door. Eager to leave the country, we see that we have Amsterdam reserved and are leaving this country that does not understand camper culture.
Quiet area. If you need a toilet and shower, arrive before 5:30 p.m. so you can collect the card needed to open the shower and toilet door, available from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Outside these hours, the door won't open even if you have the card.
Parking in a very pleasant location, next to a canal, with a windmill in the background and a bike path nearby. The facilities were clean, located by a marina, and a friendly manager. . €5 to access the bathrooms, and the common areas with views of the dock. Washer and dryer available without queues at the usual price. Highly recommended — we’ve shared some lovely days with our fellow travelers.
We were there in April—a small motorhome area in beautiful surroundings that is also popular with Dutch people themselves. Unfortunately, there was no space left, but we could park in the lot in front of the designated area and also empty the toilet. We cycled along beautiful tulip fields to Alkmaar and Bergen aan Zee.
Addendum! The access card, with a €5 deposit, can only be used from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Anyone wanting to shower at 7:30—forget it!!!! The deposit is refunded to the credit card. P.S. The toilet can of course also only be used from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Hopefully the intestines know that??
The harbor office, including the sanitary facilities, is completely new and very attractive. Everything is very clean and the harbor master is friendly. The harbor is very small, and a bike path runs past it. Opposite the pitches is a parking lot with recycling containers. It is well visited, and there are residential houses on the other side of the street. The real harbor feeling doesn't arise.
Very nice, quiet place at a small yacht harbor. Nice harbor master and clean sanitary facilities.
Accessible in winter as well for six campers. No electricity, but an outdoor facility for cleaning chemical toilets. Beautiful view and peace and quiet.
Few spaces, but reservations are possible. The toilets and showers remain closed at night, but during the day they can be used even when the harbor master is absent, with a card given to us on arrival. Good place to visit Alkmaar by bicycle or public transport. The parking lot opposite is free; overnight stays are not allowed there, but you can park there after checking out.
A rip-off. They charged us €16.75 at 10 a.m. after we had spent the night there and told us we had to leave at 11 because the space was reserved. We couldn't even use the facilities. Park in the free spaces opposite and save yourself this farce.
A great place for cycling, walking, or canoeing. Very friendly welcome. Very nice and clean harbor building. It has everything you could want. Two spaces directly by the water; the other four are large double parking spaces. €12 per night, electricity €2, and tax €1.
A good option for visiting Alkmaar. The harbour master is helpful and friendly. Good showers, and you can use the washing machine for a small extra charge.
Highly recommended! Plenty of activity during the day to keep you from getting bored, but quiet and peaceful after 10:30 p.m. Clean showers and toilets. Laundry facilities available. Very friendly and helpful harbor masters. Close to cities such as Alkmaar, Den Helder, and Hoorn. We will return! P.S. Reservations are recommended!
Pleasant, spacious spaces, numbers 5 and 6 along the water, with a helpful, friendly harbor master and excellent sanitary facilities, for which you need to use a card that stops working at 10 p.m.
Six spaces in total. Two with a view of the water and four in front of the office. I had space number 1. There is one parking space between each, so you're not right on top of one another. Entry with the card is very well organized. Beautiful and, above all, clean sanitary facilities. Very helpful yacht harbor master. Price: €20. Worth repeating.
You are parked so tightly next to each other that you can't even open the driver's door.
Very nice place. Four motorhome spaces; there were two of us this evening. No services except bins, as everything is closed until April 1. However, Wi-Fi is available; the name and password are posted on a sheet by the glass door of the harbor office. We needed Wi-Fi to plan the rest of the trip, and it worked perfectly. However, it was very, very windy. But we managed to sleep because we are not light sleepers.
