7 Largo delle Sette Cannelle, 01017, Tuscania
Been here?
This is free, asphalted, level parking under the town walls, with some shaded spaces suitable for longer vehicles. It is convenient for visiting Tuscania, with Chiesa di S. Maria Maggiore 350 m downhill and the National Museum also reachable on foot; both are closed on Mondays. The site is beside a road, and older reports describe darkness at night and traffic noise.

Very convenient! Going down the road 350 m, you reach the wonderful Romanesque Church of S. Maria Maggiore, and you can also walk to the interesting National Museum (both closed on Mondays). There are also large paid parking areas a little closer to the museum. Since we were passing through, we did not visit other monuments, but S. Maria Maggiore alone is worth the trip. We will return to Tuscania!
Very convenient parking for visiting the city.
Free, paved, level site with shade. A few parking spaces are also suitable for longer vehicles; please do not park across them. The disadvantage is that the site is directly beside the road.
Free parking, convenient for visiting Tuscania. Completely dark at night and close to the road. For the night we preferred the official parking area, which is also free.
Although free it’s next to a busy main road. No shade or services. Wouldn’t stay here the night, ok for centre visit then move on.
