Quiet parking, no water

Great, no need to go much higher, although the top of Col de la Madeleine is a little narrow in places. I parked for one night with a motorhome and trailer. Slept very well, in the shade in the evening. Garden table. Barbecue. Football pitch and a drinking-water fountain (not tested). No traffic at all.

Parking more than sufficient for one night, with spring water—a luxury. Thank you to the municipality for this refreshing spot during this scorching September.

Ideal for a quiet night. And at 900 meters above sea level, there is always a pleasant breeze during heatwaves.

A top spot! Under the trees and quiet. Several spaces are on flat, shaded ground. Picnic tables and a football pitch for family outings. The climb is worth it!

Extremely quiet and relaxing. Far from the valley’s din and the roar of motorbikes on the Col de la Madeleine road, much more welcoming than the soulless parking area at the pass itself. A barbecue area (not during drought conditions), shade, sunshine, a table, a water point, a football pitch… what more could you ask for?

felt completely safe. quite boring considering the views around (masked by the trees) but flat pitches, shade and drinking water... can't complain!

Perfect stop for a night. Also suitable for cyclists. You can start climbing Col de la Madeleine from this place, skipping the steep sections at the beginning. Access to water. Next to a small local football/playground for children.
