This large, free car park under a bridge is directly beside the Moselle and is generally quiet overnight. Some spaces accommodate vehicles up to 7.5 m long and 3.3 m high, while an approach from Winningen can avoid low clearances. A riverside cycle path leads toward Koblenz, with the Deutsche Eck about 4.5 km away. A large beach bar with cocktails and food is about 100m away.

Quiet night. We spent a very quiet night parked here. A 7.5 m motorhome with a height of 3.3 m had no access problems. Some parking spaces are suitable for this length, especially next to the pillars. The sound of cars above is not disturbing. The Moselle Cycle Route is very close. Only 4.5 km from Deutsches Eck. 20 minutes by bike.
Great and quiet place! Partly shaded during the day, directly on the cycle path, so you can quickly reach the city by bike. The bouldering gym is also not far by bicycle. Be sure to visit the beach bar!
Big parking, free, it was perfect for one night and for visiting the city. Beautiful walk along the river to the city center.

Difficult access to find. Otherwise, very convenient for cycling into the city. Spaces available at this time.
Great parking spot. Easy to reach by bicycle. Just be careful: it is best to go directly over the bridge and then along the Rhine, rather than taking the bridges into the city. There was construction there when we visited, which made things somewhat complicated. Otherwise surprisingly quiet under the bridge. We felt safe. Convenient because the bridge keeps the rain off.
A great starting point for visiting the city by bike. If you want to park diagonally under the bridge in the shade, it is best to do so before the bridge when coming from Winningen. Otherwise, continue to the junction, turn left, then right twice, go all the way down and use the sandy parking lot on the right.
Parking under a large bridge, but fairly peaceful and quiet at night. We spent two nights there. During the day we took the van into the city centre, which is still somewhat far away.
If you arrive via Bundesstraße 416 from the direction of Winningen, you can avoid the low clearances shown in the photos and use the entire parking lot, including the paved section. A good place for one night, as Koblenz is within walking distance for a city tour. However, it only becomes quieter in the evening at this very busy park-and-ride lot with glass, paper and clothing containers.
