Quiet overnight parking, paid daytime

Spaces are car length; three parking spaces are suitable for 7 m vehicles, one of which is occupied by a rubbish container. Parking fee from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. is €4. Regularly used by athletes, hikers and during events. Quiet at night. For me, a good starting point for cycling tours through the Ardennes and the Eifel High Route. Koch's snack bar is very close. No waste disposal anywhere nearby, so take it with you.✦Translating

Höfen is known throughout the region for its sometimes-metre-high hedges, some of which were planted decades ago to protect against storms and rain. It is worth taking the marked walking tour through the village. Information is available on the notice board at the parking area. Very quiet place for overnight stays; it seems to be tolerated. We stayed for 2 nights without any problems and with a very beautiful view. Parking only. Beautiful hikes start directly from the site. After all the lovely comments about it being such a quiet location, the boom-boom music starts at 22.00 and goes on and on and on, getting louder and louder. It's from somewhere in the village. How do the villagers put up with this when trying to sleep with open windows??
