6 Pla de Barres, 66210, Bolquère
Been here?
This is the Têt Dam parking lot, with pleasant hikes on the opposite bank. Access is difficult, and the site is beside a hydroelectric plant, making it fairly noisy. Signs warn of sudden water rises. Swimming is completely prohibited.

The parking area is indeed very quiet at the crossing, and for good reason: it is difficult to access and is actually right next to a hydroelectric power station, so it is also quite noisy. Numerous signs warn that sudden rises in water level can occur; swimming there is completely prohibited. I do not recommend this parking area except as a last-minute emergency stop.
