A small, calm parking lot at the entrance to Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park, with hiking and MTB trails starting here. There are no services; the nearest dry toilet and campfire place is at Hietajärvi lake 2km away. The lot is very uneven, with many roots and water hollows, while traffic is minimal.

Very little traffic, but the parking area is extremely uneven and has many roots as well as puddle depressions. We spent the night down by the river and only hiked here, which is recommended.
