Unnamed Road, 08040, Orosei
Been here?
A remote wild spot on a ridge with spectacular ocean views, sunsets, and sunrises. The unpaved track is well graded and manageable without 4x4, but a closed gate marks a restricted area and large vehicles may struggle to turn beyond it. A water source is signposted along the approach. The site is exceptionally quiet, with occasional visits from farm animals.

Magical place. I arrived on 29 July and there was practically nobody there, apart from two little dogs that accompanied me all night. An indescribable place; you have to experience it. I saw the sunset, sunrise on one side and the moon on the other. Wonderful!
One of the quietest and darkest nights of my life: a breathtaking sunset towards the mountains and a magnificent sunrise towards the sea. At night, the lights of the towns sparkled in the valley—an unforgettable experience! The access road is good: unpaved but well graded, and manageable without 4x4. Before staying overnight, be sure to check the weather; the wind can become very strong when conditions change.
Incredible view! An extremely warm welcome from the local farmer, who guided us to the place because we had gone too far towards the gate. He helped us turn around and guided us in his car to this magical spot. The sheep passed by at 7:30 a.m.; otherwise, there was only peace and quiet... An incredible night and sunrise over breakfast!
If, like us, you love peace and nature, this is absolutely the right place. An incredibly beautiful place to unwind, with the scent of herbs adding to it. We were visited by sheep, goats and cows, and pigs early in the morning. One of the most beautiful pitches.
Unbelievably beautiful place! Wonderful sunset and sunrise. We spent one night in the camper here, alone with cows and sheep. It was super quiet with a gentle breeze, which was very pleasant at night because it was still over 30 degrees in the valley. It was about 24 degrees here. I think it was our most beautiful wild-camping night.
Perhaps the most spectacular place so far. Simply unbelievable views. Easily accessible without 4x4, although narrow in places. No problem with a panel van. Not recommended for wider vehicles.
Passable road, very quiet, flat, and with a splendid east-facing view—perfect for breakfast at sunrise.
Unbelievably beautiful place. Four or five cars passed during the night, but that was all. A little windy.
Unbelievably beautiful surroundings, a dreamlike sunrise and a peaceful place. It was a little windy for us, but not unpleasant.
Could someone who has been there tell me whether the place is accessible with a 7.35-metre front-wheel-drive camper? Thank you.
Exceptional site for spending a cooler night. Magnificent view, airy location. A few locals passed by, but there was no problem. This place absolutely must be preserved.
We tried to sleep right next to the lookout tower. Don't do that - too windy. Just take a drive there or a walk for the full 360° view of surrounding mountains. The spot marked on here is perfect. Views to die for. Local shepheards don't mind you being here.
