The Sankelmarker See is suitable for a walk, and the location works for an overnight stay or swimming stop. Mornings can be very noisy, so it is unsuitable for light sleepers. The nearby café reportedly requires ordering food with drinks and may treat customers unkindly.

Good for me because I was looking for a place to swim. For the night, it is very noisy in the morning; not recommended for people who are sensitive to noise.
I agree with Smoerebroed's comment. A hike around Lake Sankelmark is highly recommended. At the café, there are no drinks without ordering food, and the staff are sometimes very unfriendly.
The place is okay for one night, but no more. Tip: don't go to the café mentioned; they are hostile to customers and even force you to order food.
