This central public parking area is listed for the capsule gondola at P5 and is convenient for visiting Kitzbühel. Parking is free with a parking disc, with up to 3 hours reported, and a €20 fine was issued without one. It is noisy and unsuitable for overnight stays, while the nearby toilet is open from 6:45-24:00.

Because of the noise and other factors, it is not suitable for staying overnight, but it is excellent for visiting Kitzbühel, especially in the afternoon, because the parking time limit does not apply in the evening. The walk from there to the nearby center is interesting too. There is a toilet block in the parking area.
Ideal for a short visit to Kitzbühel city center. Our 7.35-meter motorhome did not bother anyone. Free for up to three hours with a parking disc. The walk to the center takes just five minutes.
I was there in August 2020 and stayed overnight once. There is a public toilet, but it is closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. We used the toilet at the petrol station opposite. Because of the adjacent road, it is very noisy at night. It works as an emergency solution.
