Vänersborgs Guest Harbour and Marina

Nice place. Good facilities. Cheap. But mostly just a parking lot with quite a lot of noise.

Not really a nice place. The site itself is very uneven. There is no water supply or disposal, and the view of a massive apartment block is very disturbing. In addition, the railway line runs right next to it and the trains are extremely audible. Unfortunately, the stated price is also incorrect. I had to pay 360 SEK. Very noisy at night due to construction work.

We have been coming here for years, but definitely for the last time. After paying online, we had to vacate the site because someone had "reserved" it. Apparently, someone had removed the sign. We had paid for electricity, but access would only have been possible with difficulty. No longer recommended!

Paved motorhome site at the marina. Very pretty here. However, the listing is incorrect. There is no grey-water or black-water disposal, and no fresh water. Therefore only three stars from me. When we were there, there was also no possibility of showering because it was broken.

Clean sanitary facilities (you receive the access code by email after paying via the QR code). If you walk around the building, you have a view of the water and the marina. Train traffic and car show-offs can be heard. But it is manageable for one night.

Very nice place. It is worth calling ahead and making a reservation or asking whether there are vacant spaces. Very friendly harbourmaster :)

Easily payable online, very clean and free sanitary facilities, shady pitch, beautiful harbour, restaurants nearby. Perfect for an overnight stop. Beautiful place in the harbour; the pitches are spacious but simply on asphalt. The toilet building is very clean and fairly new. You can pay in the harbour office, which is clearly signposted, and the people there are very helpful and even give you information about the city itself. Highly recommended.

Good location at the start of lake Vanern. It is a car park but well laid out for motorhomes. Lady at harbourmaster very helpful with info on electric, showers and the town plus provided a map. Worth 300k as all facilities except grey waste. quiet overnight and recommended restaurant not bad and reasonable.

We can only speak positively about it. We were able to pay with the friendly harbor master, who explained everything very kindly and even gave us tips for a sightseeing tour. Payment is also possible with the GoMarina app if the harbor master is not there. There is an emergency number for such cases. The showers are very clean and quite new. It is quiet, with no train noise.

Office closed, black-water disposal impossible to find, the room for the washing machines, showers, and toilets is only accessible by asking at the office (closed)... Fresh-water tap for filling impossible to find, and gray-water disposal is prohibited. 240 SEK for electricity, a sink, and an asphalt parking area... We left immediately.

Warning: an absolute horror! I really am not a light sleeper. From 6 a.m.: loud music, shouting people, hammering like on a construction site, an ear-splitting jackhammer, slamming car doors, barking dogs, and a truck whose reversing alarm was on for three hours. I have never experienced noise like this! It was as if we were in the middle of a major city.

Service building closed in winter. Shower in the public swimming hall nearby. Wifi do not work in pitches. Limited distance between vehicles - be mindful with noise and inflammables. The nocturnal birds in the tree kept thieves at bay at night. Great security. Slept very sound. Safe city with beautiful nature along the lake. Previous winter guests paid 230 sek/night with el. Now its 240

Nice motorhome site, behind the station and service building. The view is somewhat disappointing. The service building was clean, with a spacious shower. You pay the harbor master, a kind gentleman!! Outside opening hours, payment is made at a machine. A good starting point for visiting the city and cycling in the area.

Good motorhome parking area for spending a night. Close to the town center. We were lucky that the railway line was closed when we were there, so we were not disturbed by any train noise. Fresh toilets and showers.

Open in winter, but there is no shower. There is a toilet. The center is within walking distance.
