Saline di Priolo, 96010, Sicily
Been here?
Free parking beside the sea, with no height limit, but recent conditions are unpleasant and the area is surrounded by oil refineries. Strong industrial smells, litter, passing cars, and concerns about security have been reported, especially at night. There are no motorhome services, although a free beach shower is available. The location has views of the sea, Etna, and a nearby bird reserve.

Whatever you do, don't go there; the surroundings are horrible, surrounded by oil refineries, with an unbearable smell. Move on.
Surrounded by two oil refineries. Stench. Disgusting area. Hard to believe this is supposed to be a nature park. Many cars coming and going. Suspicious-looking people constantly driving past slowly. We did not feel safe and looked for another pitch. Avoid this place!!!
Quiet place to spend the night, although there is the sound of the waves. The bad thing is that many cars pass slowly, observing. There was another motorhome when I arrived and I parked behind it. The smell in the area is bad, but it is not noticeable in that parking area.
We wanted to spend the night here, but the place was full of rubbish and a group of cats lives there. A bird reserve with several flamingos is located nearby.
Views and smells of the oil and gas terminal—what a horror and stench!
Very unpleasant parking area near a huge industrial zone. Unbearable factory smell. Poorly lit and unsafe.
The place itself would have been okay, but we were disturbed all night by men in a small car, which slowly drove past our motorhome all night. Very questionable and not recommended, especially for a girl travelling alone! At around four in the morning, we finally packed our things and left.
We stayed here for one night. Quite quiet, with some coming and going by fishermen. Unfortunately, we found the place rather dirty, with lots of rubbish. Views of Etna, but also of the refineries. Recommended for a quick overnight stay if you are in the area and don't know where to sleep.
Very wild.... The sea is not particularly beautiful... At night it is a somewhat strange environment.... Many cars pass, look around and leave.....
Free unpaved parking without services. Completely full during the day. You have to arrive late in the evening. Free beach with a free shower. Very beautiful sea.
We spent one night there. Beautiful view, as you park directly by the water. Every quarter or half hour, a car came and slowly drove past us. Sometimes a meeting place for locals. Not the best parking area, but we felt safe and had a good night. Another camper was there.
Flat and suitable for big rigs, no litter, quiet and next to nature reserve, 10m from sea. Really what is not to like?
I was surrounded by cars all evening; men kept driving past, and one followed me for several kilometres, overtook me, and stopped again. I was genuinely afraid.
Beautiful in itself. But we drove on because men in cars kept creeping past us. One of them eventually followed us, which was very unpleasant.
The road from the south is closed.
Beautiful view of Etna. Spent one night there. Many cars drive past, lots of rubbish. I stayed with five other motorhomes.
Such a great spot! Exploring the ancient necropolis and the bunkers kept us busy. Beach is very nice, but unfortunately some trash like on all the beaches here... Beautiful view of Etna! People use the area for cruising, so sometimes there are cars driving slowly up and down the street, but they're not causing any problems or even much noise.
The place would be good if cars weren’t constantly circling around us. We didn’t like it, so we moved on.
The place is beautiful, peaceful, and soothed by the sea. There is a restaurant near the parking area. It is a shame about the view inland, with the refineries, although there were no smells. I recommend spending the day here, especially since the wonderful Magnisi Peninsula is nearby. However, I would not sleep here at night because cars with lone men pass by and look inside.
