7 Promenade de l'Ancien Stade, 34440, Colombiers
Been here?
This three-star campsite near the Canal du Midi offers laundry, winter operation, and water fill/empty facilities. Hot showers are available but washing-up sinks have no hot water. The small, quiet campsite is close to a railway with frequent early-morning trains. Access via D64 through Colombiers; the village approach road is very narrow. Overnight stays cost €23.50 for two with electricity; book ahead after 6pm.

Quiet and welcoming. Very clean sanitary facilities and a very pleasant hot shower. No hot water at the dishwashing sinks, unfortunately.
Warning: the roads accessing the campsite are very narrow. Best access is via the D64 through Colombiers. Lots of mosquitoes. All services working.
Okay for one night, hot water in the showers, quiet place. A lot of holes on the camping full of rainwater, our pitch was half covered in water and mud after rain. 23,5 euro for two people with electricity. WARNING - be careful on the road just before camping, it's narrow with concrete fence on the sides - for car it was okay but we damaged side of our trailer
Friendly welcome, adequate pitch, lanes damaged by rain with many potholes. Sanitary facilities too small for the number of users. Beware, the village has very narrow streets and access over the bridge is easy for a van but difficult for a motorhome.
The road there is an ordeal. I arrived at 1 p.m. and learned that reception would open at 4 p.m. I drove away and will never return. It is outrageous to offer a campsite in such a place.
Small campsite with many long-term campers. But you can always find a spot! I have been coming here for 4 years. Always friendly and helpful. Small town nearby with cafés and a small supermarket. The Canal du Midi is lovely for walking or cycling.
After 6 p.m., there is no point coming to this campsite unless you have a reservation. We were brusquely turned away by phone because it was supposedly "complet" (full). It didn't look that way. They didn't even manage the usual "désolé". Difficult access. Unattractive surroundings.
Chifoumi Nice little campsite with quite a few rental units for regular guests. Friendly managers. It is fairly quiet at night, but from around 6 a.m. the proximity of the railway and the frequent trains prevent peace and quiet. Cycle path along the Canal du Midi 500 metres away.
Very friendly welcome, very peaceful campsite and ideal for a one- or two-day stopover during a tour of France. They are not after mass tourism! Small campsite with a nice restaurant, and inexpensive for what they offer. Worth repeating.
Fine for an overnight stop, but no more. Be careful: the washing machine is faulty and the tumble dryer doesn't dry... Near the railway line...
Very warm and helpful welcome; thank you for helping me loosen my fuel-tank cap :)
Very friendly operator. We called and received an entry code because we arrived after reception had closed. Everything was very clean, and the showers were really hot! Lovely pitches! We will come back!
Not open all year round! Closed until 02/01/2025.
Sanitary facilities are limited in winter, but absolutely fine for the price. Small site, friendly, English-speaking. Perfect for an overnight stopover.
Great welcome... excellent, very clean campsite...
Stayed 2 nights. Clean toilets and lovely hot showers. Large pitches with mature hedges. Close to the village and the Canal du Midi (we cycled into the interesting city of Béziers). €20 per night with ACSI
Charming and tidy campsite just steps from the Canal du Midi and surrounded by nature. Top-notch welcome. All services available, including a heated area and laundry facilities.
Small, nice site with pitches of various sizes. Friendly atmosphere. Sanitary facilities are old but clean. Good starting point by the canal for conveniently visiting all the local sights. Very good pastry shop in the village about 500 m away.
Good welcome, available by phone even outside opening hours. Close to the Canal cycle path. Dog-walking path very nearby! Clean and functional sanitary facilities.
Good welcome, old but functional sanitary facilities. Quick access to the cycle paths to Béziers or Capestang along the Canal du Midi.
A three-star campsite that in reality deserves only two. The welcome is friendly. The pitches are a good size. However, the sanitary block is deplorable and extremely outdated; moreover, maintenance and cleaning are nonexistent. The sinks and dishwashing basins are full of mud. Also, on May 5 only the winter section is open. Come only if necessary...
Good welcome, quiet night despite the very nearby station. However, for a three-star site costing €20 (ACSI) with electricity in the off-season, the sanitary block is certainly old, but that does not prevent basic hygiene, and a thorough cleaning of the dishwashing basins and sinks would not be a luxury so they could be used. It does not give the campsite a good image! Suitable for one emergency night...
Very pleasant campsite, very good welcome, electricity and water on the pitch. Really great! Open all year round.
Small but well-located campsite. 10 km from Béziers. You can walk from the campsite to the Canal du Midi. The reception staff are very pleasant. We did not use the bathrooms, only the water emptying and filling facilities. The railway line runs next to the campsite, but it is not very busy at night. The pitches are spacious. We stayed on a pitch with electricity. Price €21.40 per night. Motorhome, first week of December.
We arrived after reception had closed. We called the phone number and someone answered immediately. We were given the code for the barrier and could drive in; the rest would be sorted out tomorrow! Only the disabled toilet and baby-changing room were open. Fine pitches. Pool in summer with a large slide.
Warm welcome! Stayed one night; you are right next to the railway tracks/shunting yard. Sanitary facilities are fine. The pitches were spacious.
Open all year round, which is a real advantage in this region where it is difficult to find a campsite with electricity! Spacious pitches on wooded grounds. Old sanitary facilities that deserve a good refresh, but everything is functional. The pool is currently being renovated. Very well located for walkers and cyclists along the Canal du Midi...
I have never seen such filthy sanitary facilities at a campsite. A terrible stench around the toilets. The other facilities are also a major disappointment. Never again and absolutely not recommended. Yuck!!
