Parking at the edge of the forest, suitable for 1 or 2 nights and currently costing 6,-€ for 24h. It is very quiet at night, with a slight, manageable slope and no toilet. The attractive town is within walking distance, and in snow this is a starting point for the Tellkoppe ski-walking trail.

Perfect for one or two nights, very quiet, alone at night, and the price of €6 for 24 hours is very fair. The pretty town is worth a walk. In snow, it is the ideal starting point for the Tellkoppe ski trail. Slightly sloping, but unproblematic.
Sloping parking area, no toilet. Free of charge from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Strange people in military clothing, who were very loud with dogs, were sneaking around there (not military personnel). We left because it felt too strange.
Nice, peaceful place for one or two nights. At the hotel three minutes away you can eat delicious food, and breakfast is also available if you want it. Short walks through the town and to the viewpoint, with a wonderful view. We enjoyed it.
Perfect starting point for hikes. The night was very quiet; we were there on the night before election Sunday, so the parking area was somewhat busier in the morning. Level, with no water or waste services. Please take your rubbish with you!
