Quiet river, difficult four-wheel access

This is a calm, abandoned field with access to a quiet river where swimming is possible. Reaching the river requires a capable 4x4 with high clearance, as the track can be sandy and overgrown; even a Honda CRV became stuck. With 4WD, campers can reach the rocky river beach and make a fire. After heavy mountain rain, a flash-flood hazard required moving onto the track.

Calm and nice place BUT take a good 4x4 with high clearance down to the river. I used my 4x4 SUV (Honda CRV) and got stuck in the sand. We didn’t find this place at first, the road was pretty overgrown with branches. Leave the main road a bit east of this place, first left then right. The water was really green, so we didn’t really want to go swimming. Stayed next to the small road in a field.
The location shown by Maps is wrong. Fairly quiet place, completely abandoned. A little desolate.
With 4WD you can go down to the river and put your camper on your the rocky beach. We found that a paradise. Swim in the river, make a fire. Our second night we were up on the track because of the hazard of a flash flood due to heavy rains in the mountains.
