This spacious, quiet wild parking area near Slot Loevestein is surrounded by nature and offers plenty of mostly flat places to stay. There are no facilities and no shade, but the area is good for walking and cycling, with wildlife including ducks, storks, and spoonbills. A nearby factory is generally quiet at night, while the open location can feel exposed in wind.

A quiet place. Super. It feels safe and we slept peacefully. We took a walk here. Ducks, storks, spoonbills, and others pass by.
Spacious and wonderfully quiet. No facilities, but in return you get beautiful nature. Lovely area for walking and cycling.
Amazing free parking close to the castle, surrounded by nature. Plenty of options to park, all mostly flat, but either way the sloping isn't a problem. No facilities, but stunning sunsets and fantastic walks around. Spent a peaceful night with a handful of other vans, but having plenty of space.

Because the camper site at Loevestein Castle was full (4 campers), after walking along the Merwede and visiting the castle, we drove back to the parking area next to the factory on the dammed Maas (300 meters back). Plenty of room to park. The factory operates, but is quiet in the evening and at weekends. We had a peaceful night, although the dike was busy. We took beautiful walks.

Beautiful parking area near Loevestein Castle. We slept very peacefully. Is overnight parking really allowed? There are no prohibition signs and you do not disturb anyone. The area is very large and we were alone overnight.
Quiet and beautiful place right next to a nature reserve and opposite agricultural silos. We spent one night there while passing through. If you like nature, there is plenty of wildlife!
We stayed there for one night in our van. It was a very quiet and pleasant night, even though five other campers were there. Early in the morning, some locals came by who apparently photograph the wildlife there.
