Nice place, the staff let us sleep here with no problem, we had some good beers in the pub

Welcoming staff. Convenient stopover just off motorway, popular pub. Very clean toilets to use when pub open. Enjoyed a couple of drinks. There is road noise but didn't affect us - carpark quiet overnight. Dogs welcome

Great stop over, food good, on a slight slope but ok. Staff very friendly will definitely stop again at some point. We just popped in to say we were here and they were happy for us to stay.

Absolutely great stop over. Paul and his whole team are super friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a Thursday night so we got food. The pub was toddler and dog friendly. Car park is fairly big. Slight slope but not a problem. It is close to the motorway so you do hear the traffic all night but it did not bother us. Good EE signal. Definitely will become our regular stop on the way to Scotland

Great stopover Paul the manager was really accommodating. No food on Mondays and Tuesdays but we had a drink in the bar and it was really friendly. Just opposite Gretna village and down the road from shopping outlet.

Stopped over on our travels as we were late. We can recommend this Pub/Hotel. Paul the Landlord was very welcoming with his hospitality. A great stop over with the option to eat and drink what more could you want. When you arrive have a word with Paul and buy a drink/meal if you want to stay over. A great little stop!

Super welcoming people who are happy to let you use their car park overnight. We had a meal in the restaurant, which is at the reception level. The motorway noise is continuous but not bothersome in a van.✦Translating

on our way to Dundee and stopped here in the hazeldene pub carpark. Paul ( the new owner ) is amazing.Very very helpful. I had my 33ft RV in his carpark and he came out with a keep clear sign so no one would block us in. Because we arrived on a Monday ( no food day ) he gave us a few local menus and got us all the cutlery plates ect.. couldn't recommend this stop over more. Thank you Paul .

Paul was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making this an excellent stopover on our journey back from the Scottish Highlands. He kindly allowed our dogs into the pub, and the drinks were very reasonable. Although we arrived a bit late for the food, we still enjoyed our time in the pub and free sleep in the carpark. We would highly recommend this place.

Excellent stopover on the way up to Scotland. Easy access to and from the motorway. Brilliant staff, and decent food and drinks. We will definitely stop here again.✦Translating

Stayed on a Tuesday night in February. Easy to find and park. The owners were friendly and welcoming to us and our dog. Had a very safe and comfortable night. Had a few drinks in the bar. No food was being served that night. Was a stop over on our route to the ferry home. Will stay again. Thank you.
