45 Østre Havnevej, 5700, Svendborg
Been here?
This simple harbour parking area has 17 motorhome spaces, including room for large vehicles, and electricity. It costs 200DKK for 24 hours through a parking app, but there is no water or grey- or black-water disposal. The area is bright and noisy, with harbour and industrial sounds, seagulls and occasional weekend partying; the centre is 1400m or 20 minutes on foot.

The place gets 1 star, for being the only place in Svendborg, to park and get electricity. No charm whatsoever. A lots of seagulls screaming 24 hours a Day, noice from the harbour and in the weekend, noice from partying teenagers. There is a long trip to empty black and gray water (Rudkøbing) and get some service. Ridiculously expensive, cheaper to stay in Rudkøbing and have all the service incl.
The place has no charm whatsoever, and is expensive for next to nothing. You are right next to a massive plant with chimney stacks that are very impressive. If you want to see the town of Svendborg and don’t mind a 15 minute walk then it’s ok I suppose.
There are 17 motorhome pitches, also suitable for large vehicles. You have to pay 200 DKK using a parking app, including electricity. Unfortunately, there is no disposal facility or water, which should really be included for this price. The city center is 1,400 m away, a 20-minute walk. At night there is a constant noise, somewhat like an air conditioner running. Fine as a starting point, apart from the price. RM
At 200 kroner for a parking space with electricity and a rubbish bin, it is clearly too expensive. Brightly lit at night and harbor noise. No attractive view, but within walking distance of Svendborg and a beautiful waterside path to Thurø.
The site is fine and within walking distance of the town. However, it is misleading that the price is stated as 175 kroner per day. Payment can only be made via a parking app, which adds a 25-kroner fee. 200 kroner for one day with no service other than electricity is too expensive.
We stopped here for lunch and to visit the town. Plenty of space, even with a trailer. Easy access.
Convenient for taking the ferry, but the surroundings are unpleasant and very noisy.
Ridiculous and complicated payment system. It badly needs updating. Especially troublesome for foreign campers.
The site is not particularly attractive visually. BUT, by bicycle you can reach the town center in five minutes, and it is very well maintained. In the former shipyard district there is delicious fish and several bars. We liked it.
Fine for one night, rather expensive, and you can hear the industrial area all night. However, the proximity to the town center is excellent, and the €26 is valid for 24 hours.
