18119, Rostock
Been here?
A motorhome parking area by the central pier and harbor, valued mainly for its location and the view from the first row. It costs 22€ including visitor tax, but the sandy, grassy surface can become waterlogged. There is currently no fresh water, grey-water disposal or usable waste facility, and overnight parking is reported as prohibited. The town and railway connections are nearby, with attendants present during the day.

Parking for motorhomes—nothing more. Sometimes it is a struggle to get the front row :-( Good for visiting Warnemünde and Rostock by train.
Five stars if you are lucky enough to get a place in the front row. Then it is worth the money. Otherwise, it is just a parking lot.
We managed to get a pitch at the very last minute on December 30, 2025. You can understand why people want to stay here over New Year’s Eve. Great starting point for the train or the harbor to Warnemünde, etc. The price is perfectly reasonable.
Honestly, I find it difficult to rate. There is neither a service point nor an electrical connection. The ground is mostly compacted earth with a little grass. The view of the harbor entrance is very beautiful if, like us, you are in the front row. Charging €22.50 for parking is acceptable given the proximity to the city.
€22 including tourist tax is steep for a parking lot. The only positive is the proximity to town. After heavy rain overnight, as happened to us, we were standing in a huge puddle in the morning. We probably will not return.
The location is simply unique. The €18 now comes with an additional €2.25 visitor tax. It was checked daily during our stay. However, I do not understand what the sign prohibiting overnight stays is supposed to mean. It can only be a joke.
Attention: waste disposal is currently unavailable, despite the tourist tax. Paid toilets. You are right at the harbor, which makes up for it. There is always something to see.
A parking lot on a waterlogged meadow with no comfort whatsoever. The only facility is a dirty and filthy disposal point. Overnight stays are not permitted.
Great motorhome pitch in Warnemünde. The access roads are sandy, but most of the pitches are on grass.
One star for the proximity to the city, which is just a few meters away, and one star simply because this place exists. Otherwise: a sandy, dirty parking lot with no services whatsoever. Not even a tap. There is only a hidden, foul-smelling cassette dump. And all this for €18! That is nearly extortionate! The access road feels like driving along a country track.
Perfectly adequate for a weekend. The front-row pitches are always taken quickly and highly sought after.
