A free daytime parking area in Berdorf is a useful starting point for the Berdorf loop hike. Most spaces are very sloping, although some are level, and the area offers views of cows. No services are available, and a sign now prohibits overnight stays.

We parked here during the day. Many free parking spaces. The slope is manageable and therefore did not bother us.
A no-overnight-parking sign has been added.
Beautiful place, but almost all of it is very sloped. I had too few leveling blocks with me and unfortunately drove on.
Very steep, but beautifully quiet and illuminated. The village is quite nice and the surrounding area is naturally sensational.
