Been here?
Paid motorhome parking near Red Lake, with modern, very clean sanitary facilities and good gastronomy. Electricity and a water tap are available, and a recent stay used the black-water drain. Nights are semi-quiet with minor traffic, while a lost ticket cost 50RON.

This campsite—note, it is not a campsite—has its price, but also offers a very clean sanitary facility including modern showers, which you do not necessarily find in Romania, as well as very good food. Anyone who gets upset about paying 10 or 20 lei too much should find another hobby and count peas instead…
The barriers were up when we arrived, so we did not take a ticket. Later they closed them, so the next day we could leave with a lost ticket, which cost 50 RON. We used no services, only the black-water drain, which is beside the toilet building. The staff were friendly, and the night was fairly quiet, with minor traffic.
Anyone who stays here and then complains about high and strange prices is to blame themselves. The previous comments are really clear. This is more a car park than a campsite: noisy, visible from the road, with cars coming and going, and they even want money for it. We immediately drove on, laughing.
Too expensive: 150 RON for camping, 15 RON for parking (toilet extra). There are enough alternatives. If you want to park, there are several free options away from the main road, toward the signposted hotels, in the small side streets leading up the hill.
It would be a beautiful and quiet place for one or two nights to explore the lake and go hiking. But beware: we paid €30 (150 lei) for a T3 camper and three adults with electricity. Water, electricity, toilets and a hot shower are available, but the water is shut off from around 6 p.m. until about 10 a.m.
Didn’t stay. Could not believe how expensive it was. The toilets were clean and there was one shower with assumed hot water as hot water in the sinks. Go to the Red Lake campsite further along the road. Same amenities but in nature and for way less than half the price.
There is no grey- or black-water dumping. Be very careful with the woman issuing the tickets; make the type of service you want clear. She demands a ticket for everything, or you will pay twice.
50 RON at the hotel for parking without services; the woman said the next day that it would be 30 RON with her. We kept the receipt. The night was quiet and cool. Very close to Red Lake.
Good parking spot, perhaps a little expensive. 150 RON with electricity and use of the sanitary facilities, 30 RON if you only want to park. Very clean facilities and a good shower. It was very quiet at night for us.
Large car park with spaces suitable for motorhomes. Water and electricity connections directly at the pitches. The site and sanitary facilities are very clean. Very noisy during the day because of heavy traffic; in the evening, the restaurant/terrace opposite treated us to Hungarian live music until midnight.
I spent one night at this location. Paid 24 Lei (€ 5) only for parking (I arrived late in the evening). I did not require the additional services (access to the toilets, neither shore power). Be sure you specify clearly what you need. It tends to get busy with cars (in high seasons or during the winter);during daytime passenger cars will park near you.
For 120 lei you get a quiet place for overnight, clean toilets and shower, drinking water, electricity and chemical toilet sink. IMHO good place...
