Unnamed Road, 61210, Putanges-le-Lac
Been here?
A small, quiet picnic area beside the Orne, with three picnic tables and no services. Overnight stays are possible, with the river and owls providing the only reported night-time sounds. The area is surrounded by nature and walking routes, but the final 400 metres may require higher vehicles to pass through branches; vehicles up to 3 m are reported manageable. There is no height limit.

Very beautiful, quiet, secluded place in the middle of nowhere. Overnight parking is possible. Taller motorhomes have to make their way through branches during the last 400 meters, but vehicles up to 3 meters are manageable.Translating
Magnificent spot! A peaceful place surrounded by nature. We spent one night here without any problems. As there are no bins, please leave the place clean after your visit. There are three picnic tables but no services. No height restriction.Translating
Very nice spot by the Orne. We had a great night, with only the sound of the river and owls.Translating
We had a wonderfully quiet night and, apart from two hikers in the morning, nobody was there. Beautiful, clean picnic area and great hiking trails all around.Translating
We drove directly down to the banks of the Orne with a small converted van. The place is incredibly quiet. Great spot.Translating
It’s great! A little too much traffic for my taste, but that is normal: the area is well known for fishing and is a starting point for hikes.Translating
Beautiful, quiet pitch for spending the night. You can park close to the water, on slightly sloping ground.Translating
Beautiful spot for a lunch break. Perfect for a 6.2 m motorhome.Translating
