Been here?
Camping El Faro is a large, shaded campsite with hedged pitches, a clean pool, supermarket, children’s area, entertainment in season and sports facilities. Pets are accepted, and sanitary facilities are well maintained. A recent stay cost 160€ for 6 nights, or 25€ per night. The beach is described as a 10-minute walk away, with a beach bar 600 m away, but nighttime noise can continue well after 00:00.

The best features are the access to Cala del Aceite and the very shady pitches. What needs improvement is the noise at night. Well after midnight, it seemed like Gran Vía during rush hour. The campsite does not enforce quiet hours. Toilet and shower cleanliness was adequate, even though the campsite was full.
We stayed four nights in June. Other reviews mention a lot of noise from campers preventing rest. During our stay, we slept without any problems. It is true that more people arrived at the weekend and there was more noise, but after midnight hardly any sounds could be heard. I would return in low or mid season.
If you want to rest, I do not recommend it: music at the pitches, people shouting until very late, and children causing a lot of chaos with bicycles and scooters. A little chaotic. The positive point is the proximity to the beach.
Unpleasant reception staff; you feel unwelcome. Pitches are adequate but dirty and littered with paper, cigarette butts, etc. The sanitary facilities are otherwise decent and fairly well maintained. Beware weekends, when the campsite becomes family-oriented. Electricity is expensive. In short, I do not recommend it; apart from the nearby beach, which is not bad, there is nothing to do.
September 30. The site is currently sparsely occupied. At the back there is a permanent resident whose dog barks constantly and relieves itself everywhere. Overall, a site with little charm. ACSI is listed on the website, but at check-in they said: we had it last year. Prices otherwise okay. Plus point: the nearby beaches are really beautiful.
A stopover campsite for a Saturday night, but it is a noisy family campsite to avoid if you are looking for peace. Many children ride bicycles and scooters through the lanes, and many noisy groups continue late into the evening. Positive point: the sanitary facilities and showers are properly maintained, and the beach is a 10-minute walk away.
A complete madhouse: groups of teenagers running and shouting through the campsite streets until at least 1 a.m., mocking the security guard. Little respect for other guests, with conversations continuing into the early hours and no intervention from the campsite. An outrageous price of €55 for a van, two adults and two children—almost a scam. If you want to rest, run away!
Very lively campsite, with people making noise until late. Pitches are very small but shaded. Overall, the campsite has everything needed, but personally I give it three stars because the water is not potable for washing dishes and you have to wait for a maintenance worker to connect or disconnect the electricity, sometimes for 10–15 minutes. Unacceptable to me.
Perfect! We loved it and we are very demanding. Choose the more secluded areas because it gets very busy at weekends. Otherwise, beach, pool and peace are all there! We paid €160 for six nights, or €25 per night for a van and two people.
Very quiet weekday stay with very few people at this time of year. The pitches are spacious, and the sanitary facilities are clean and very functional. Beach nearby! €5 to access the barbecue area, which is a little expensive!
Beautiful campsite offering everything. Fresh bread rolls and other groceries are available daily in the supermarket. Pitches are not very large, but sufficient for a motorhome and awning. Sanitary facilities are very clean. All pitches are separated by hedges. About a 10-minute walk to the beach, a beautiful sandy cove with a restaurant.
We had a very quiet stay, although it was also low season. Very clean bathrooms and a very well-maintained campsite. The reception staff were lovely. We will return!
Perfect, toilets and showers spotlessly clean, kind staff. I confirm six stars. A small drawback is that the electricity on the pitch is key-operated; we requested it, but nobody ever came to connect us.
A campsite rated 10/10. Large, shaded pitches. Bathrooms and showers are immaculate. Very quiet! We were practically alone on Easter Sunday. You can walk down to the beach via a trail in about 10 minutes. One night without electricity for two people: €21.80. Slightly more expensive than camper stops, but reasonable for what it offers and definitely worth paying.
Closed today; we are heading to another campsite ⛺️.
We found the pitch rather dirty, with old wires left hanging in the middle. Several guests do not respect quiet hours, with shouting and commotion until 1:30 a.m. The campsite could intervene, since reviews indicate there is often a lot of noise late into the night. There is no drinking water. The facilities are otherwise fairly good.
You cannot ask for more from this campsite. It is very beautiful, with an unbeatable location, many trees and shade, well-maintained pools, and the largest campsite supermarket I have ever seen. The reception staff are very helpful. Although some campers do not respect quiet hours at night, that is not the campsite’s fault. We are adults; let’s be respectful! I confronted my neighbors and they quieted down.
Acceptable facilities, but if you are looking for peace, this is not the place. Nobody respects quiet hours, talking loudly until the early hours. Children everywhere on scooters and bicycles, shouting. Rest is impossible.
Most pitches are narrow for motorhomes. There is no grass as shown in the photos, only dirt. If you are looking for peace, this is not the place. Quiet hours are not respected. People and children with bicycles and scooters pass everywhere, shouting.
Excellent campsite. We arrived at night and were welcomed very warmly! Double pitch for a motorhome. We enjoyed the very well-maintained pool, included in the price. Bicycle rental is available, as well as paddle-tennis courts and equipment. The showers, bathrooms and common areas are all very comfortable and clean. Activities are organized for children and adults! €186 for four adults, three nights with electricity.
Campsite with very large pitches, pool, entertainment, restaurant and supermarket. Toilets are very clean, well maintained and spacious. €31 for two people in a motorhome.
Great! Toilets and showers very clean! Super-friendly staff. Wi-Fi is also available. The beach in a small cove is a 10-minute walk away. Ideal for families with children.
Very quiet, well-maintained site. Unfortunately, only cold water for washing dishes. After the weekend, we were almost alone at the campsite in May, but the large pitches were then no longer cleaned regularly. Unfortunately, there is no Wi-Fi reception on the premium pitches. Beach nearby in a lovely cove.
Beautiful campsite with hedges separating the pitches, quiet and shaded, two open pools including one for children, playground, restaurant and mini-market. €24 for a pitch for two adults and one child in a rooftop tent. A path leads to the beach in no more than 15 minutes. Clean showers and toilets. Dishwashing area and bins available. Pleasant, helpful staff.
We had a very good weekend, peaceful and without unusual noise, with children playing until reasonable hours. Everything was clean and the staff were extremely friendly. Supermarket with everything necessary at good prices. We were two people with a small dog, €30 per day including electricity. Good-sized pitches separated by hedges and with plenty of shade.
Reasonably priced campsite: €34 for one adult and three children for one night. For the same price, we could choose between two types of pitch of completely different sizes, with a pool, children’s area, toilets and showers.
Site close to the motorway. The noise is quite bearable. Sanitary facilities very clean, staff very friendly. Restaurant highly recommended.
It was okay here. Small pitches, very busy, not geared toward foreign tourists. We did not try the pool or the distance to the beach; we were just happy to have a place for the night.
Good facilities with plenty of shade, except that the pool is too small for a campsite accommodating so many people. Good service from the staff. Quite noisy at night until quiet hours. The best feature is the path to Cala del Aceite, 10–15 minutes away. I do not think I will return in high season.
