Been here?
This large campsite has spacious shaded or sunny pitches, is 50m from the beach and about 1km from the town centre. The rear entrance leads to the beach, while the port and restaurants are about 20 minutes away on foot; the site is generally calm and pitches are flat. It has three toilet blocks, but recent reports describe the sanitary facilities as old, sometimes overcrowded and often without hot water. The bar and restaurant are open from March 24 to the end of October, the pool from April to September, and the mini club in July and August; one stay cost €22 per night plus €5.90 electricity.

Disappointed, having come three years ago and been well served. This year we came for one night and were installed facing toilets and the dump station—a pitch that would really only be suitable when the campsite is full, whereas there were still spaces. We were told, “If you do not like it, we will move you,” but they did not do it immediately. We will not return; we will try other campsites. They do not care.
We spent one night here at the end of June. The check in was a bit chaotic as they took us to one pitch, then changed their mind. Then to another, but that was occupied. Then to a third. We appreciated the great location, and a decent amount of shade.
I advise against going to this campsite or any other in the area. They were responsible for closing the Costa Brava motorhome area because it competed with them. That way, they ask you for double or triple the price to spend a day at the campsite.
A large campsite with sufficiently spacious pitches. The pitches are divided into rows (A–Z) and are not separated from one another within the rows. The sanitary facilities are not the most modern, but they are well maintained and clean. The “rear exit” leads directly to the beach, and there is a supermarket just across the road from the main entrance. Restaurants are within walking distance.
Well-located and well-maintained campsite. The pitches are large but not separated. Clean facilities. Welcoming staff who speak French.
Large campsite. The facilities are old but very clean. Access to the beach at the back of the campsite. Bring a long cable for the electrical hookup. We recommend it.
The staff get 5 stars from us. Super nice and did everything possible. Far too few showers/toilets. Sanitary facilities are old, and there is often no hot water. The dishwashing area also rarely has hot water. According to the site plan, the pitch was directly on the beach, but unfortunately there was a huge building in between. Hundreds of seagulls and pigeons make endless noise, even at night, and cover everything with droppings. It constantly smelled of feces and garbage.
Very well located. Beach 5 minutes away. Port and restaurant 20 minutes away. Clean showers and toilets. Spacious pitch. 4 nights with a motorcycle trailer, 2 people. Price: €115. Quiet, level pitch.
Spent 3 nights on site. Price was €22 per night plus €5.90 for electricity. Got located near the beach end of site, which is perfect. Ideal for walking to sea front and cycling in local area. Showers, toilets, sinks for washing cutlery, hot water and clean.
The site has new management. We were not impressed. Before we could choose a pitch, we had to commit to how many days we would stay and pay the full price in advance; if we left early, no money would be refunded. They also require a €50 deposit, and we wondered what it was for.
Long, narrow campsite with pitches for all vehicle sizes. The sanitary facilities are clean and the water is hot, but they are a little dated. Lots of mosquitoes. The road is nearby, so there is some noise. Pool and restaurant open. The beach is 10 minutes away.
Wi-Fi does not work.
Beautiful beach, with countless restaurants and shops within walking distance. The site itself is fairly clean, and the outdoor areas are well maintained. Hot water is available in the showers and for washing dishes. The Algerian employee on site is very hardworking and helpful. The reception staff, however, are incompetent, slow and difficult. They work the barrier, and during the couple of weeks we were there, cars honked when the barrier would not open.
Here again, so everything works, the toilets are clean and the showers are okay. The restaurant serves excellent food at fairly reasonable prices. Very friendly reception, especially because we were allowed to stay until 12:00 the next morning instead of 11:00. Still highly recommended!
The campsite is in the town, right by the beach. Very friendly staff. Reasonable rate. The sanitary facilities are kept very clean. The only campsite where we can stay with our large motorhome in L'Estartit. 10-amp electricity. Wi-Fi available for a fee.
Very Good site. €17 with Acsi in September. Generous pitches. Friendly staff, multi lingual. Bar and pool closed from late September but lots of restaurants near by, 15 minutes walk to the centre of town. Supermarket at the entrance. Recommend Don Quixote restaurant close to entrance, no relation, honest.
We went to reception asking for a place for two nights. At first, the attendant would not let us choose our pitch. Only after insisting strongly were several pitches shown to us. We therefore went to those pitches—how sad, a long, narrow campsite with motorhomes lined up. We promptly fled the place.
We stayed there for 4 nights. Very nice and pleasant staff, immaculate shower and pool. We will stay there again on the way back.
Nice site with a good price and good value using the ACSI card. Unfortunately, heavy continuous rain flooded 50% of the site. We had to leave. We may return next low season.
Very large pitch, great pool. Quiet and pleasant campsite. Adequate sanitary facilities.
Very beautiful and large campsite, ideally located near the town and beach. Large but unseparated pitches. Two nights at the end of August for two people and one van, €56.
Superb, very clean pitch. Great welcome, close to the sea, supermarket next door, restaurant and bar on site. Very friendly manager. Very quiet.
Good stay at the campsite. The pitch was a little small but sufficient for our stay. The campsite is close to everything: beach, supermarket and town. The facilities are clean. Family-friendly and secure campsite. Pleasant pool. La Cantina restaurant/bar is quite good. Evening entertainment. Bread at 8 a.m. Four stars because the pitches are overused and some lanes have too many caravans. On arrival, they escort you to your pitch.
Average site. €43 for two adults and one van. Pitches are an okay size, with partly uneven grassy ground. Electrical cables are available at reception if needed. Sanitary facilities are okay and clean, but somewhat dated. ACSI accepted, ADAC not accepted. There are two sanitary blocks, a pool, restaurant, football field, playground and mini-club. Evening entertainment.
Campsite very well located. Very clean facilities. Large pool. Very large beach at the end of the campsite. Spar supermarket directly opposite the entrance. Centre accessible on foot in 20 minutes. Paid €50 for two nights, one van and three adults after buying the ACSI card (€20 for one year). Unfortunately, you have to pay for water to fill the van's tank (€0.50, not expensive, but it is the principle).
Clean bathrooms, and the pitch we got was fairly level. It is close to the beach and very near the town. The pool is very good; the only downside is that we coincided with a couple of groups on school trips, and they alone filled the pool. Otherwise, everything was great!
After two weeks with them, we had to leave. The campsite is as good as ever with the ACSI card. The tourist tax is charged for the first week and the second is free. Thank you.
Campsite with spacious pitches within walking distance of the centre of L'Estartit. Sanitary facilities are clean and reasonable. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and pleasantly quiet at night. Many Dutch, Germans and French, which you can clearly see because you face each other across grassy areas. Fine for us for a few nights, so good if you are passing through.
Spacious pitch because it is low season. Otherwise it may be a bit tight. Facilities okay. Dishwashing area okay. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants.
Beautiful little three-star campsite by the sea. Large grassy pitches. €17 per night with electricity using the ACSI card, for two people. Quiet, clean and friendly staff. They escort you to your chosen pitch. Greenway and cycle paths for exploring the surroundings. Large market in the centre, a 10-minute walk away, on Thursday morning.
