This is a lit daytime parking area without services, with shops nearby. Recent information reports that motorhomes are not welcome in Besse-et-Saint-Anastaise and are prohibited from parking in all town car parks. Earlier stays mentioned traffic and tractors in July, with vehicles arriving from around 5 h 15.

Motorhomes are not welcome in this town. Parking is prohibited in all car parks. We are going somewhere more welcoming.
Convenient but not great. Lots of noise from passing cars and tractors in July. Auchan employees park there to go to work. The first one arrives around 5:15 a.m. A note from the municipal police was placed on our windscreen warning us that spending the night in this car park would result in a fine.
Very good parking area, quiet, slightly sloped and lit all night. Ideal for spending a night and visiting the town of Besse. I recommend it.
Perfect for visiting the town. Easy to manoeuvre only when there are few vehicles.
Due to lack of time, we went to this car park around 11 p.m. Easy access, plenty of spaces available. A busy road nearby; fortunately, we had earplugs to get a good night's sleep.

Quiet car park close to the centre of the medieval town. We spent the night there; flat ground and little traffic.

Very peaceful car park near the small medieval and Renaissance town, which is not to be missed. All shops available. Heritage discovery trail, local-produce market on Mondays, and an excellent base for hikes.
