Roadside rest area, loud nights

Fine for one night, but the road is busy all night and therefore quite noisy.

Spot is exactly as described, we parked here for 2 nights between visiting Bergen. Parked by the picnic bench, which is the better location with grass and further from the road. Did not find the road an issue at all.

This is probably a good place for a short rest along the road but we didn't find it suitable for staying longer because, in summer, during the day it was noisy because it is close to a busy road. We didn't use the facilities.

This was a good place for an overnight stay. It is somewhat sloping. It was not as noisy as mentioned. In the evening it quickly becomes quiet. We had no problems with it.

Good place for a stop before going to Bergen, but really very noisy, with lots of traffic on the adjacent road. Avoid it if you are looking for absolute peace and quiet, but it is useful as a last resort; otherwise everything around Bergen costs money.

Not a beautiful parking area, but before Bergen this is one of the only large and free places to park overnight. Bergen is still 30 minutes away. We parked near the edge by the picnic table toward the exit. This let us look at a few trees, and the road was quieter. Perfectly fine for one night!

A place that is useful before or after visiting Bergen. Lots of spaces available, but it is true that you can hear the road clearly.

Beautiful view. But very noisy because of the road. Apart from motorhome owners who cannot keep even a metre's distance just to enjoy the best view (sadly, no photo), it is a good rest stop for one night.

Fine for one night given the proximity to Bergen. There were other campers and truck drivers staying. It’s close to the road and you can hear the traffic but it quietened from about 22:30

We slept here for one night as a stopover on the way to Bergen. The road is busy even at night, but the noise at night is bearable. Good for one night.

It is difficult to find something around Bergen. You can sleep safely here; there is one picnic table and a rubbish bin. Level asphalt and gravel surface. Very noisy beside the road. Trucks also park here, arriving late and leaving early.

If you have nothing else, it is fine, but the road right beside it, with an occasional truck, makes sleeping difficult.

We parked near the bench and slept fairly well. Road noise did not bother us too much during the night and it was 35 minutes to Bergen for the day.

We were initially alone, then another van arrived behind the trees, where it is quieter. Lots of traffic and trucks loading or unloading in the morning. Only rubbish bins, no other services. Practical for us because we wanted to leave Bergen. Fine for one night.
