Been here?
This unfinished parking area has eight large, level spaces, but no working services: water is off, both disposal units lack water, and the restrooms are closed. Low-flying aircraft can be very noisy, although flights reportedly stop between 23h and 6h. The area is currently overgrown, with a riverside park, birds, frogs, bins, and a nearby food truck.

Nice place. Planes fly above few times a day which might be a plus. River bed almost dry so lots of birds and frogs around.
Parking currently being developed. Nice pitches, hedge plantings, electricity hook-ups installed. Perhaps work stopped because of the planes flying so low. I confirm the times: no planes between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m.
The planes really make a lot of noise, but to me it's worse than that that everything is overgrown and looks abandoned and the place itself is kind of remote, so we only spent a couple of hours there. The river is wonderful and we swam, three stars for the river.
Pleasant, peaceful spot. It is true that the facilities do not work. Nevertheless, the air traffic is quite bearable—at most 15 planes per day—and there is a nighttime break from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., a broad estimate. There are bins right next to it. The swimmable river and the small food truck next door more than make up for the air traffic. A fairly clean spot for a nature stopover. We highly recommend it!
We stayed here for one night, but that was really enough! The noise is truly awful! The place itself is really nice and spacious enough for only eight vehicles, if it weren't directly under the runway approach. None of the services work and everything is closed.
I confirm that the facilities are closed (no electricity, no water, no dumping, no toilets). Otherwise, it is very beautiful and peaceful (yes, there are planes, but we still slept very well). Nearby there is a lovely riverside path (swimming possible, also perfect for people with dogs). A small kiosk just a few steps away sells drinks and crisps.
Beautiful place, very nice neighbours but planes really fly low exceeding 80dB
Spacious, level pitches. Toilets closed, but there are other toilets in a car park two minutes' walk away. Flights stop from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Riverside park with tables and benches (and bins) right next door. We picked up quite a lot of litter from the area...
Special motorhome area but not finished: no services, only one stabilized pitch under the flight path... too close to the airport to sleep without noise.
Beautiful spacious pitches next to a small park with a playground. After reading the other reviews, we thought we could cope with the noise from the small planes... but after dinner we drove on a little further. The planes land and take off directly in line with the motorhome pitch. It is fun to see them overhead, but we really couldn't handle the noise.
Unkempt site, no water or waste facilities at all, no lighting despite the lamps. Planes fly low and are therefore very loud, in the evening until 10:45 p.m. and in the morning from 6:15 a.m. Recommended in an emergency for one night.
Water and waste disposal not working. Aircraft noise during the day. Otherwise a beautiful, still free motorhome parking area. Tip: go over the dam to the small beer truck. It opens by 5 p.m. at the latest. Good beer, Aperol and burgers at a low price.
The water and nothing else works.
Actually fine for self-sufficient motorhomes. The daytime aircraft noise from Trieste is annoying. There is a high embankment towards the river, which unfortunately obstructs the view, but surely has a good reason.
New and pleasant motorhome area, but the services are inactive, so it is free. Good for one night; planes pass nearby but not during the night. Nice riverside park nearby. There is a fountain at the entrance to the road.
Terrible. Indeed, there is no access to water or toilets. Planes: the first one passes at 5:30 a.m., the last at 11 p.m. There are quite a lot of them, even if it is not Charles de Gaulle (see another comment below). Lots of insects (a dried-up riverbed next to it). Well, we had a very bad night!
Fine for one night while passing through. We arrived in the dark and still found a spot; it was during the week. It is unclear whether it will ever be completed or has been abandoned, but it is currently free. The planes are loud but pass at long intervals.
Nice pitch if you are easygoing; no electricity or other facilities are open yet, but it is free. Nice for dogs, and the river too. Currently not suitable for proper swimming because the water is too low. The snack van is cool and even has a vegan burger. Planes are loud, but genuinely rare.
Eight very flat pitches / NO active services / low-flying planes landing nearby.
Nice and safe place to stop over for one night in one of the 8 designated places. We got the last spot around 7pm. All facilities are closed (electricity, water, toilets, etc), it seems it is not officially in use anymore. The airport is veeery loud though, the planes ascend and descent extremely close above the vans until late at night.
Excellent place to spend the night, it is free and the facilities do not work. But the place is perfect and in good condition.
Very nice place, but there is no electricity and water. Beautiful river nearby and playground. We were there at friday and there was live music in the bar near river. We recommend.
The motorhome services unfortunately still do not work, although some people nevertheless tried to empty their toilets and grey water into the drains, since they have been staying there for longer periods, so municipal workers sealed all the infrastructure yesterday. The grass has not been mowed and is not suitable for walking dogs. Otherwise, there is beautiful nature around and nicely maintained cycling and walking paths.
Quiet motorhome stop in beautiful nature, perfect for switching off—apart from a few planes in the morning, at noon and in the evening. The river is wonderfully cool and a real blessing in hot weather! Toilets—closed!! Electricity and water—none!! Anyone who is self-sufficient and looking for peace and quiet is in exactly the right place here. Also very suitable for caravans.
Nothing works and the toilets are closed!
Nice place, but neither electricity nor water works and the toilet is not open either. It is not really peaceful, even though it is very remote, because the planes fly very, very low over the site and are accordingly extremely loud. On the other hand, the site is free.
