Chemin des Grailles, 84220, Gordes
Been here?
Small woodland parking 200 metres beyond a sign explicitly prohibiting motor vehicles. While described as beautiful and quiet with valley views, recent visitors have received warnings from authorities about fines exceeding €1000 for parking here illegally. Multiple enforcement actions recorded. The location is scenic and attracts hikers, but overnight stays carry significant legal risk and are not advisable.

The site is located 200 m behind a sign that clearly says “no traffic permitted for any motor vehicle.” We stopped at the foot of the sign; the place is great, but there is a house very close by.
Except for authorized users. Risk of a fine.
Quiet and easy to access, fairly flat, with 4G.
A quiet night, with a few dog walkers in the evening and some hikers in the morning, but they were very discreet. There were three vehicles spread out along the whole area. Good spot!
Very pretty spot, but unfortunately a forest ranger came in the morning and listed all the fines we could incur if we stayed there—we were facing more than €1,000. I strongly advise against staying here.
Very quiet and shady place in the middle of the woods, with 4G coverage and little traffic except for a few hikers. A few harmless large ants occupy the area. We recommend it!
Very beautiful shady place, but unfortunately the National Forestry Office came and asked us to leave because of the fire risk.
A very secluded little corner, ideal for showering. Make sure to use organic and biodegradable products!
Beautiful place in the forest. There are parking options all along the road. Many hiking opportunities nearby, so I spent several nights here. The higher you go, the better the view. The road is used by hikers and cyclists, more on weekends than during the week.
Very good nature spot among the trees. Very, very quiet at this time of year (May).
