Been here?
A grassy wild spot beside a stream, below old abandoned facilities and near a cave. Several places are available on the grass, with nature and hikers nearby; the road can be heard during the day but nights are calm. Access is bumpy and the route to the lowest level is deteriorating, with a 6m Ducato struggling uphill in dry conditions. The cave requires good lamps and suitable shoes.

A very good spot because there are not many on this road! At the moment, two abandoned puppies are staying here! If you want to stop by to give them water and perhaps food, do not hesitate; their survival surely depends on it. They were adorable. Please let us know how they are doing! ❤️❤️
Very nice down below; there are several places on the grass. The cave is superb, so bring good lamps and sturdy shoes. You can hear the road during the day, but it is very quiet at night. Warning: the path to the lowest level is deteriorating, and my 6-metre Ducato struggled to get back up in dry weather. Check it on foot before driving down. Otherwise, the level above also offers good spots.
great quiet spot to spend the night. make sure you are on the Romanian cellular network to avoid roaming fees!
Used to visit the surrounding area; you can also find a level spot. Close to the road, so there is noise.
Very nice place. We stayed for one night. When you leave the road go right downhill. The road is bumpy, but it’s ok. It is possible to sleep next to the chair or go further down the road to grass space near a stream where it is nicer
We were here during the week. You can reach the third level with a van. We drove down in a Vivaro. Very clean and quiet, as described. Space for more than just five cars.
I only visited levels 1 and 2, and the sight immediately put me off. The place looked very bleak because of the ruins, and the valley location did not make it any nicer. Perhaps I should have driven to the lower level, but I did not feel comfortable and continued on to the Danube. There are nicer places here. I found a wonderful spot in Coronini at the sports field.
Great quiet spot, sheltered from view. A few walkers heading to the cave. Not far from the road.
We spent a wonderful, idyllic time here, surrounded by pure nature. You could stay longer. We were alone, and the road did not bother us.
I would happily stay here for a week. The spot is beautifully situated; despite being close to the road, there is little or no noise. There are many level places, and wild peppermint grows by the stream. Highly recommended. However, we did not find the cave.
Very nice, camping-style pitch for visiting the impressive caves. You should be sure-footed and bring a flashlight. The downside is that the sun comes over the hill late and disappears again early. The road is very close, so it is also noisy.
It was quiet here. We did not see anyone. Perfect for an overnight stay.
Very quiet stay, we enjoyed the place. The entrance is a bit tough and tricky, best done during the day.
Amazing place We stayed here for some hours as a stopover Enjoyed the cold clean water of the stream
