Been here?
An urban parking area beside a lake, offering views and access to the pleasant village. It is generally suitable for an overnight stop, though traffic passes along the road beside the lake and recent reports have also described severe nighttime noise. There are no services. The lakeside walking path and village amenities are nearby.

It was a good place to spend the night and the "pueblo" is lovely. My 7.1m camper does stick into the walk a bit, but thankfully the walk is wide and I had no complaints. Based on previous reviewers, I went to Ronco Tocar for breakfast and it is indeed a place you should not miss. At 8:30am on a cloudy Tuesday the place was packed, so this alone says something about the place.
The noise from cars and people walking dogs at night was unbearable. I had to leave at 1 a.m.
Parking opposite the lake, with cars passing by and some traffic because a road runs along the pond; cars even pass at night. Peaceful. We stayed overnight, then continued our journey. We walked around the pond, as there is a path around it. Very close to the Ronco Tova churros shop.
We were passing through and decided to sleep here. We slept wonderfully, very peacefully and without noise all night. Keep in mind that traffic started from 7 a.m., but if you are passing through, it is a perfect place to spend the night.
Parking in front of the lake with normal traffic. Nice village to visit, eat delicious cheeses and take a walk.
Quiet and peaceful parking near the village. You occasionally hear a car because the road runs right in front. The village is well worth visiting. It has all the services: supermarkets, a bakery, chicken shops and a pastry shop for breakfast in the camper; if you want to eat out, there are toasts at the Ronco Tovar churros shop and, on the other side, Cupcake’s Café.
Parking beside the road. In the morning there are cars and noise from dogs, roosters and birds. We slept one night and continued our journey. Visiting the Ronco Tovar churros shop is essential.
Quiet parking area by the village lake, in a residential area.
The place is safe and easy to park in, and almost flat. The lake is spectacular at sunset, which is a real pleasure. In the village you can find the area’s most famous cheeses, Torta del Casar, which are highly recommended. The only downside is that it is on the street and traffic is somewhat heavy early in the morning.
Quiet and safe place, right beside the lake. It is roadside parallel parking. A little noisy in the morning because of passing cars. However, the recommendation to eat at Casa Claudio and have churros or toast for breakfast at Ronco Tovar deserves a 10 out of 10! It is worth parking just to visit these two places. Don’t miss them.
