Small parking at scenic Lac Noir with spectacular mountain views. Flat terrain, popular with daytime hikers but very quiet overnight. Arrive early morning or after 19h as it fills with visitors during the day. No services. Faint road noise audible. Hiking trails depart from this location.

Rather disappointed: the artificial pond is far below and inaccessible. The walk around the lake counterclockwise begins with a rather rough path that is not suitable for everyone. The walk is more pleasant if you start from the monument. After 5 p.m. the parking area empties and we were left alone.
We spent the night without any problems, arriving at 7 p.m.; two hikers' cars remained. Fairly quiet at night, with two vans alongside us. A few cars passed on the road leading to a refuge. The view of the lake upon waking was simply wow. Hiking routes start at this parking area; the first hikers arrive around 8:30 a.m.
Small parking area beside the Black Lake, with a magnificent view. Parking for vans or small motorhomes. Pleasant night with only the sounds of nature.
Great place. We spent two very quiet nights, under the snow and alone in the world. Snowfall was heavy; a snowplough passes practically every two hours during the day, but you still need to carry the mandatory equipment. Arrive after 5 p.m. The parking area is occupied by hikers and inn guests during the day; reservations are recommended.
Plan to arrive around 6:30–7 p.m., because the parking area is often full during the day, with many hikers still around at this time of year. Flat ground, no services, and no parking restrictions for motorhomes.
Easy parking with a lovely view of the lake. Bring earplugs, as the water pump is quite noisy. The parking area becomes popular from 8–9 a.m. There is a pleasant inn nearby for a coffee before hiking. ;-)
Peaceful, quiet night. The parking area was full, but after 7 p.m. everyone left. Beautiful view of the lake and fir forest.
Very nice pitch. Indeed, there are a few spaces where you can park for no more than three hours. No problem sleeping here; we arrived around 6 p.m.
Very beautiful, quiet parking area at Lac Noir with a great view. We dared to stay overnight and slept well, but there are now signs saying that parking is limited to three hours. Unfortunately, we will have to find another place for overnight stays in the future.
Magnificent view! Very quiet at the beginning of June; we slept there alone. Walkers from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., but they are discreet. Note that there are a limited number of parking spaces, some of which are now limited to three hours.
Magnificent view! Arrive early or late, because the place is very popular with hikers who arrive from 8 a.m.
We spent two quiet and safe nights here. Mobile reception was fine. Many thanks to the municipality.
Spacious parking area; we were alone. Beautiful hike.
And not too crowded in October.
