This lakeside parking spot offers attractive views and generally peaceful overnight stays beside a lightly used road. The area is good for nearby walks, although recent reports mention many flies and the access road from the north is narrow. The route from southern Berja is winding but manageable for passing vehicles. The lake access is fenced, with a barrier more than 200 meters away.

spent a very peaceful night there. not bothered by anyone, minor cars passage during the weekend night. quite a lot of flies though.
The AL6400 road when coming from north of Cherín is indeed narrow, especially when crossing Lucainena and Darrícal. However, the A1175 road coming from south of Berja is winding but does not pose major problems for two vehicles to pass. Beautiful view of the lake below and good 4G reception.
Do not bother coming here. Just barren land with views of the reservoir. Not worth the road here—it is hell, and access to the reservoir is fenced off more than 200 metres away.
