Attention, there is no pool; it has been under construction for a long time—see the reviews. Poor maintenance.

It looks as if the campsite has been abandoned. The sanitary facilities are heated but not cleaned, and the reception must not have been cleaned for ages.

Campsite with a swimming pool under construction in the middle of summer, but the reception forgets to mention it when you book. Lack of professionalism...?! [sic]

The pool is not operational. The campsite is very natural, with spacious, undivided pitches and lots of vegetation. You need leveling blocks, but that is normal at a natural campsite. The facilities are far from the pitches unless you choose a pitch nearby, which we could not because we were told it was full. We were upset that the pool was under construction because this was not mentioned anywhere on the website. A disappointment.

Beautiful place, but advertising a swimming pool that no longer exists while charging a high price. What a shame; therefore it really deserves no stars.

Cool place with much greenery. Free showers and a shop and small restaurant. Price in summer for campervan 9/adult (from 9 years) and 9 for campervan, 5 for children (not including electricity). We went for the pool but that was just a construction site at the moment :( …

Mixed feelings. The pitches are nice and so is the welcome. However, access is not practical in a motorhome—damaged roads and a narrow passage where branches scrape the vehicle. Finally, it is far too expensive! €35 for a motorhome pitch without electricity, for two adults and two children aged 10 and 12. Clearly too much for us.

Wonderful natural campsite, friendly owner, we can build campfires :)

I don't know what the facilities are like, but what I do know is that it is shameful to charge €6 to someone who just needs 50 liters of water to continue their journey... €6... just for a little water. Thank you for your sense of hospitality and solidarity! I will never come back here in my life. What a shame—I was looking for somewhere to stay for a month while working on a contract.

Campsite poorly located and difficult to access in a motorhome. Undivided pitches in a former quarry in the middle of a forest, somewhat gloomy. Old and gloomy sanitary facilities. Very expensive for what it is. Very noisy at night with lots of traffic. Friendly owner.

Lovely wild nature campsite with a lovely owner. Clean swimming pool and a small cafeteria. Free hot water. A short distance through the forest down to the railway line. €9 per adult and €9 for the camper. Would gladly come again.

A very friendly welcome from Xavier who speaks perfect English and gave lots of information about the area. Large pitches and if you're further away from the facilities, feels like you're in the middle of the woods and nature. Beautiful mature trees surround the well maintained pitches. Sight and sound of birds throughout the day. Walking distance to town through the woods.

Nice French campsite. Lots of pitches, not very organized but pleasantly organic. Lidl is within walking distance, 10 minutes. We took the train to Paris, 30 minutes from Gare du Creil. We went to the station by Uber, €12.50.

Beautiful campsite in an old quarry above Paris. Paris is easily accessible from here. The pitches are very spacious and the sanitary facilities are good. Also good for a trip to Château de Chantilly.

Large site in the middle of nature, no problem to arrive without reservation. You may find a quiet place with privacy or stay nearby the sanitary facilities. WC and showers are bit old and not perfectly clean but no problem with capacity. Friendly english speaking receptionist. Available path to get easily to town Saint-Leu-d Eserent.

We paid €42 for one night for two adults and a six-year-old child. There is only one toilet block at the entrance. There are people doing strange things. It is a somewhat hardcore campsite and is 30 minutes from Parc Astérix.

I confirm: the navigator makes you turn right onto a small agricultural dirt road—do not go that way. Go a few meters farther and turn right. The managers are very kind; we arrived late at night. If you want croissants in the morning, you need to order them in advance.

Nice, old quarry site. Sprawling, wooded, lots of space. Loud or quiet, depending on the pitch you choose. Pitches are not clearly defined, some campers take up two spaces which can make it difficult to find a good spot. Shower/toilet facilities are clean. No private washrooms (just a row of sinks). Nice pool & snack bar. Campfires allowed, lots of dried branches available. Lidl 10 mins walk.

Highly recommended campsite, especially if you like natural spaces. We arrived late because we were coming from Parc Astérix and had no reservation. We were helped very kindly. Be careful with the GPS directions: it sends you down a dirt road, but there is a paved road a little farther on.
