Mountain parking, overnight prohibited

What a shame; I used to stay here quite often for one night before going on a tour. Afterwards, you could still have a good meal in town. A shame—I will drive somewhere else in future, where we are still welcome, and enjoy my dinner at the restaurant there.

Motorhomes used to always park here, and we have stayed overnight there in the past too. It was never a problem; now there is a sign saying “camping prohibited,” so we drove on. It is a great shame that it is no longer wanted.

It is clearly stated that camping is prohibited.

It seemed like a great place to sleep, since the other places appeared impossible. As soon as we arrived, another campervan driver warned us that a local had come to throw them out of the site. We are very grateful to the other campervan driver for warning us. He saved us a fine. We have to help one another. I do not understand what bothers the locals about these kinds of places; there were no houses nearby.

We were there for a few hours together with 4 other campers. The locals working there had no issue with us staying there. Unfortunately another local later came by bike and started arguing with one of the camper drivers and angrily took photos of all of our license plates and called the police. We don’t know why he was so angry, either way it was a good reason for us to leave :)

Perfect, quiet and peaceful at the foot of the mountains, with hiking trails starting here. Highly recommended.

Great spot, quiet. We were the only ones here. Workmen passing in the morning but no one said anything about not being able to stay :)
