8 Avenue Paul Bert, 51200, Épernay
Been here?
Brand new parking area with 6 spaces in quiet location near Épernay centre. €22 per night includes 24-hour electricity and 10 minutes water; coin-operated machine handles all transactions, with no staff on-site. Peaceful and well-maintained but only 6 pitches means it fills quickly. Greywater disposal requires a hose.

Area with 6 pitches and a large green space with picnic tables. Everything is very well maintained. Fairly close to the centre, although it is better to use bicycles to visit the wineries. The only drawback is that the motorhome service area has no grey-water drain; you need a hose to drain into the service post. A code provided at the entrance is used for water and electricity.
Super relaxed site right in the centre. It is very clean. No sanitary facilities. Ten minutes of water and 24 hours of electricity are included. For 2 people you pay €22.50: €21 for the pitch and €1.20 tourist tax for 2 people. Everything is automatic; there is no staff on site. Enter your licence plate at the barrier and pay by card. At 3 p.m. there were still 3 places available.
Very nice camper site close to the centre. There are 6 spaces and payment is made at a machine at the entrance. Electricity is included in the price and you get 10 minutes of water filling. Black-water disposal is available on site, and there is a grey-water disposal station on the outskirts of town. A particularly good champagne experience at Castellana and Comtesse La Fond. A toilet on site would have earned 5 stars.
Very easy to purchase a ticket. In July it is busy but we got the last spot. Very peaceful pretty area. Wifi didn’t work but everything else did.
Lovely spot. Shaded and sunny areas. The photos make it look bigger but there are only 6 spaces. The 22.20 euro fee actually includes electric and water but you will need to retain your ticket for the code. We came after a long days travelling so didn’t walk anywhere. Would stay again.
Very nice and tidy site. Only space for 6 vehicles, but you pay for 24 hours. People therefore arrive and leave at different times, so you may be lucky and find a space. Very close to town and in a quiet area. Electricity and 10 minutes of water filling are included in the price. You can empty the toilet cassette, but there are no other facilities.
Very poor value for money. Area to boycott.
Beautifully laid out, no question. But... €22.20 excluding electricity and water, and almost impossible to empty your grey-water tank (you need a hose), is too expensive. The surroundings are very busy; cars drive continuously for 18 hours a day.
Got a space just as someone was leaving- very lucky- it’s 7pm and the campsite was full. It’s quite expensive but does include electricity and water.
In the middle of a heatwave the water machine broke. Staff on the phone were not interested in helping even though they are only 10 mins away in the camping municipal. Family and pets left struggling in the heat. No help, no refund. It's camping from a vending machine with very unhelpful staff on the end of the phone when things go wrong.
When you arrive in the late afternoon and are charged €22.20, you do not know that the next morning you will be woken by unbearable machinery noise, struggle to empty your grey water, and find overflowing bins. It is far too expensive for the service provided. It is not a good idea to have a campsite in the middle of the city.
What a lovely Aire. Well maintained, with everything you need, except a grey waste drain, clean & tidy. The centre of town is just a 15 minute stroll away. So easy to partake of the champagne tastings on Avenue de Champagne & stagger back. Thank you
Very beautiful site; yes, only 6 pitches, but they are high quality and spacious, allowing you to sit outside without being right next to your neighbour. Very green surroundings. Obviously, it is neither free nor cheap, but it is worth it. It lacks nearby shops, such as a bakery or restaurant, for people who cannot travel easily.
Clean and well located, but a little expensive. For €9 more you can have showers, toilets and a washing machine at a campsite.
Beautifully maintained site, truly a green oasis on the outskirts of Epernay. It is a shame that grey water can only be emptied with a hose, but otherwise highly recommended.
Motorhome area 1.5 km from the centre of Epernay, easily reachable on foot. Clean place, equipped with electricity, water and toilet disposal. We spent one night and it was very quiet. When paying, you receive a receipt with a code to activate the electricity at the service post.
Brilliant aire, no facilities so only come if you have a toilet. 20 minute walk to the centre of Epernay. Electric worked fine for us. The Aire does get very busy, we were very lucky we got the last spot.
Very central . We have everything we need except the electric didn’t work, which isn’t essential for us and the grey water isn’t easy to dispose of. It’s very clean , quiet and nice picnic areas and easy 15 min walk in to central Epernay. Lot of cycle routes too.
Parking plus tourist tax per person: €22.10 today for two people! No water, and I had to call someone for assistance. Someone came but could do nothing! €22.10 without water or grey-water disposal is very expensive! Do not hesitate to call if there is a problem because they do not check the app, and according to them there is never a water outage, even in winter, although we read here that there is!
Very nice site. You need a hose to dispose of grey water, and flushing the cassette is a little tricky. Therefore 4 stars.
Advantage: close to the town centre. Disadvantage: one water supply of 5 litres, then access is no longer permitted.
Absolutely avoid. A complete disgrace. You pay €21 for 24 hours. The tap is unsuitable for motorhomes, so you enter the code and nothing happens. Emptying is not possible. The next day you want to clean the toilet, but that is impossible because you used the water code the day before. So you cannot get any more water. Pathetic.
€21 with electricity, but you cannot empty grey water, and the ground is muddy when it rains. Far too expensive for a town like Epernay, with only 6 spaces. Very disappointed; I will not return.
Great site with a well-designed terminal for all services. The footpath next to the barrier for leaving the site could be signposted a little better. Thank you :-)) to the operator(s).
Excellent stopover with well-divided pitches. About a 20-minute walk into the centre. Excellent bakery 5 minutes away. Good value.
Pretty, well-maintained motorhome site. But it was already full in the early evening. What a shame; we had to move on. The next morning, however, 4 spaces were free. Hurray. By midday everything was occupied again; the site is popular. The site is simply great! The night was relatively quiet. Unfortunately, there is no grey-water disposal.
A very well-maintained, spacious motorhome site. Paved surface, so good even in bad weather. Extremely satisfied. The terminal is multilingual and easy to use! If only everywhere were this good.
A quiet, beautiful motorhome site with 6 spaces. Well located for exploring the area and town.
Wonderful... when you are lucky enough to get a space. What a shame that this lovely shaded site is so small! There is a real shortage of this nearby! Fairly close to the town centre, with wide spaces!
Very nicely laid-out motorhome site! Very well-maintained grounds; each pitch is separated by bushes, with several picnic tables and wooden benches. Very quiet at night. Improvement: instructions for using the electricity/water codes should be easier to understand, perhaps multilingual.
Very nice motorhome site; we will come here again! Six spaces, but it was full when we were three vehicles.
God place and near city. Nice with the picnic tables. We can be back
Only 6 spaces, admittedly that is few, but the site is perfect, with picnic tables and beautiful spaces separated by vegetation. Well landscaped, 1 km from the centre, or 20 minutes on foot. Ten minutes of water, which was enough to completely fill our 100 litres. The only drawback: no grey-water disposal. We recommend the Saint-Imoges site for emptying grey water.
Still no possibility of disposing of grey water... €21 all the same, and do not dump your water on the ground (seen being done by a Finnish motorhome user); it is muddy enough with the rain. When leaving for good, remember to select the correct option on the terminal, otherwise spaces remain empty in the evening and nobody can use them. There are only 6 spaces here, which is too few for a town worth visiting.
Nicely laid-out motorhome site, somewhat outside the centre.
21/02/2025: No disposal possible unless you have a drainage hose; using the terminal to enter or leave is complicated; the electricity supply is unreliable and is not linked to the parking duration; motorhome users are not the municipality of Epernay's target audience. From April to October, the municipal campsite is available at the same price and is much more pleasant.
2 people, €21 including electricity, which cannot be opted out of. Relatively central, but therefore traffic noise. Completely inadequate service facilities. A double Gardena nipple is required. I did not have one, so no water. Disposal could not be reached. Epernay itself is run-down considering the turnover of the champagne companies.
Beautiful motorhome site in the middle of the city. Spacious pitches.
Beautiful green area, tidy, clean and spacious, with picnic tables as well. Electricity for 24 hours. The service area does not allow grey-water disposal, but there is a designated area nearby. Note: only 6 spaces. Quiet parking and night.
Located 20 minutes on foot from the town centre. €19 for 24 hours for two people, including electricity and water filling. Indeed, it is impossible to dispose of grey water, and there is not much nearby where you can do so. Otherwise, the place is quite good, with picnic tables and beautiful vegetation. Two quiet nights. Be aware that there are only 6 spaces.
Nicely laid-out motorhome site. Grey-water disposal is not possible. Water can only be taken on using a double Gardena nipple. Nicely designed but not really practical. €19 is genuinely too expensive.
Pleasant and fairly quiet, well-organized place, but there is no grey-water disposal, or I could not find it, which seems surprising. In addition, the water connection for filling the clean-water tank was incompatible with anything I had seen so far, so I was unable to empty the grey water or fill the clean water.
