Bilberg Camping

It is a grassy field where you have to stand packed together. A tight squeeze. We also happened to be next to the septic pit: a hole with a wooden lid where everyone empties their toilet, so we were constantly in the smell. There is one toilet in the same room as the single shower. If someone is showering, nobody else can use the toilet. Everything is grimy. You also pay €2 per person for the shower.

We actually only wanted to stay one night, but the peace did us so much good that we stayed another night. No luxury, but lots of heart. We will return :)

We drove onto this campsite this afternoon and were warmly welcomed by an older man. He showed us the kitchen and sanitary facilities, then waved broadly and said, ‘You can stand there.’ No fixed pitches, no strict lines. Everyone parks and enjoys the peace at this campsite. Simple, basic facilities, swallows, quiet and close to the beach. 5 stars!

If you like things simple and quiet, this is the right place. Not for perfectionists, rather for uncomplicated people. A wonderfully beautiful area.

Small, very quiet campsite, maximum 10–12 motorhomes or caravans; tents also possible. €8 per person, dog €2, vehicle €3, paid via mailbox. Did not use the rest, as everything is available in the motorhome. I will return.

What a great location! We were properly welcomed by a friendly man who gave us a tour. €23 for two people, and you simply put the cash in the mailbox. Where can you still find that? Definitely worth repeating.

Friendly welcome from the German-speaking owner Sven. Quiet location, 800 m from the beach. Depending on the wind, you can hear the 181, but it is not disturbing. Free choice of pitch. Small kitchen, water and waste facilities available, one shower/WC. Everything is very rustic, but our 5 stars are for the unbeatable value for money! We will definitely return.

Can only recommend it. Toilet and shower are on site but old. You can also use your own facilities independently. Supermarket about 8 minutes by bike. The sandy beaches are 800 meters away on foot. Perfect with our Labrador: long walks by the sea, and the cycle paths through the dunes are a dream. Shaded pitches. Very quiet surroundings, grassy pitches. Emptying grey water and the toilet is no problem, and the fees are excellent.

Quiet campsite, rustic but okay sanitary facilities, mainly for small vehicles; large campers should avoid it. €20 is a fair price.

Very lovingly arranged site with a pond, very quiet, and friendly long-term campers. Cooking, washing up and showering in an older building; everything is somewhat dated, but still fine.

We were welcomed very warmly and found a nice spot on the site. Everything needed is available, at a very basic standard. It was not completely clean, though. For €21 (2 people, 1 dog, 1 camper van), we found it rather poor value. We are currently paying €25 in Vorupør and are much better off.

Small, cozy site with free choice of pitch. Everything you need is available. The shower is basic but works. Very inexpensive and uncomplicated. Van, one person, one dog and shower for €15.
