Large riverside parking area near a nature reserve, popular for fishing, birdwatching and walks or cycling to the lagoon/lake. A 2m height barrier at the entrance blocks taller vehicles. Traffic noise from the nearby road is noticeable, especially by day, but nights are generally quieter. There's no toilet and no bins, and litter is a recurring complaint. Free overnight stays seem tolerated, with no controls reported.

Height barrier: 2 m.
Quiet place with several local people who come to fish. There is some traffic, but in the evening we heard only a few cars passing. You can reach the lagoon/lake on foot or by bike.
Great place for a picnic. I think you could also sleep there for free, although you can hear the road; it seems peaceful. No toilet. There is a 2 m barrier at the entrance.
Quiet spot close to the nature reserve.
Wonderful view and unique nature. The car park has a 2 m height restriction. We stayed one night with a station wagon and rooftop tent, and it was no problem. Please leave the place clean and do not overdo it. You know what I mean.
An immense amount of rubbish nearby. The setting is magnificent; it is a shame that it is not respected. Quiet at night, but many cars come to park there from early morning during the week.
Height restriction up to 2 meters!
Parking very close to the Sauge bridge, next to the Broye Canal. You can hear quite a lot of road traffic, but it is better than nothing. Great place for visiting the observatories, or the ASPVO, home to thousands of cormorants, if you are lucky enough to spot the kingfisher. Picnic table to the left of the car park and access for fishermen. We spent one night, though earplugs were still needed.
Attention, a new barrier limiting height to 2 m!!! Surreal!
