This is a peaceful overnight parking place in nature, with level spaces and panoramic views over the reservoir and the Hurdes. The area is especially attractive at sunrise and sunset, with excellent stargazing. The dam is nearby, with a bar and opportunities to walk. There are no rubbish containers on site.

We knew it from another visit in the area and said, “We have to sleep here,” and so we did. We arrived at night and it was perfect: very level, extremely peaceful, and at dawn the views were mind-blowing. Don’t hesitate—come and spend the day here.
Idyllic place to be in nature and enjoy the area’s fantastic sunsets. There are no rubbish containers, but on the way back you can dispose of waste in Zarza de Granadilla. You can visit the ring and enjoy this magnificent place.

We spent a very peaceful night. The viewpoint attendant was very kind, explained everything, and let us go in to have a look. Plenty of spaces, all very level.
A fantastic place to spend the night. If you’re lucky, the sky is incredible! There are two parking areas and I don’t think you’ll have trouble parking. Otherwise, there is also a tree-surrounded spot in the village.
In a word, fantastic. Beautiful view, phenomenal sunset, and millions of stars.
