Been here?
A rustic private parking place beside a beautiful freshwater lake, with a peaceful setting and friendly hosts, though conditions are basic. The bathroom and toilet are clean, but there is no electricity, water is provided by canister, and waste disposal is limited to the toilets; recent stays paid 40€ for 4 people. Food is available and mostly tasty but considered expensive, while the final driveway is rocky for a few meters.

There is increasingly more rubbish at the site, and it has become expensive. Last year it was still €20 per night; this year it is €40 (4 people). No electricity, water by jerrycan, and dumping only in the toilets (disgusting). The bathroom and toilet are very clean, and the food is mostly delicious. Staff range from very friendly to completely dismissive, so there is something for every taste ;-) Pigs, chickens, cats and a huge dog roam around the site.
A very beautiful place with warm-hearted people. We would happily come again ♥️
Anyone expecting German standards is in the wrong place. This is camping without frills, with hospitality and delicious food. Sanitary facilities are clean. No electricity. In return, there is warmth, free-ranging chickens and a huge dog. We will come back.
Beautiful, lovingly designed site with a view of the lake. Clean, new sanitary facilities. We found the restaurant food expensive.
A very beautiful place with many lovely details and very friendly hosts :)
The site is a ploughed field terraced with an excavator, decorated with bicycles, tractors and rusty objects. The lake is pretty, but there is no possibility of walking. The shower is a corner bathtub. There is no hot water. We were offered the restaurant sink to wash our dishes, but it only had cold water! Payment in cash, of course. Not worth considering.
Great location, right by the lake. In season, when it is busier, it is probably a lively place. Currently it is rather neglected. Unfriendly welcome (25 seconds including instructions and payment). Two toilets and one shower in a corner bathtub. In the same room there is an old, filthy bed. No electricity. €20 per night.
Incredibly quiet. Very nice owners. We stayed one night and paid €20. Dogs, cats, chickens and pigs roam freely—simply fabulous!
Great place! Nice view. Feels like sea, although it's a lake. We made a short hike to Velika Čelinka, which takes 30-40 min. You will have a great view (also on the sea ;-) ). Parking between olive trees, pigs and chicken are moving around. However, also the cats. Suprisingly, we found one of them in our camper. Even though the farm area has its charm, it could be a bit more tidy. Easy access.
A perfect night! For €20, a pitch near the lake, very clean toilet and shower (one only)! No electricity. We woke up to kittens and little pigs. Very nice atmosphere.
Fine simple place!!
We spent a very quiet night here. We were still able to buy water and wine; we were too late for food, which had to be ordered in advance. It has a bit of a hippie charm; the only shower is in a bathtub, and the toilets are clean. For €20 per night without water or electricity, it is OK.
The site is beautifully located and very quiet. The road is fine; we were there with a 9-meter motorhome. We were happily greeted by the farm dog. The sanitary facilities are very clean and new. The rest of the area looks very run-down. The owners arrived at midday and were partly very unfriendly. The food was good but very expensive. The white wine was undrinkable. However, we would not come again.
We spent one night here for €20. The shower was hot in the evening. All the animals roam freely, including directly around and under the motorhome, which is also very nice for children!
A magical place beside Lake Vrana. Free facilities in perfect condition and very clean. Very large pitches in the pine forest. Thanks to our hosts for making their property available.
Exceptional view of the lake, magical atmosphere, very clean and new toilets and shower. The very large shower was occasionally a little cold, depending on the time. Many shaded pitches, all without electricity. Great peace and quiet. For €20, I would definitely come back. The animals are a delightful bonus.
Really lovely, although very uneven and probably unsuitable for larger vehicles. Toilets are very clean, with showers and a bathtub. Chickens, piglets, cats and the farm dog included. Happily again.
Very nice, family-run site. Dogs, cats, chickens and four piglets roam freely and are tame. The location right by the lake, with pines and olive trees, is beautiful. The toilets and shower are very nice; the water was hot for us. Cozy bar with a view of the lake. Once a week there is suckling pig and goulash cooked in a cannon. Definitely a rustic, cozy and very beautiful place.
lovely and chilled! quite rustic! the owner was very friendly. they have loose chickens, baby pigs (!!) and a big puppy wandering around, which we loved. the shower is fine but the water wasn't very warm. toilets nice and clean! lovely view over the lake.
What a wonderfully relaxed place. The access road is fine even after rain. The owner warmly welcomed us (we called 10 minutes beforehand)—dog welcome! Everything exceeded our expectations, especially after the recent reviews. Clean sanitary facilities, though limited. Delicious food with a view of the lake and friendly service. Five stars!! €20 for the pitch, choose your own spot, plenty of shade—what more could you want? No electricity.
We spent one night there, and that was quite enough! The welcome was unusual; the young woman at the bar was not very friendly and spoke an incomprehensible mix of English and Croatian. She took our €20 and left us to fend for ourselves. The sanitary facilities were dirty but practical. The place is beautiful beside the lake, but the rest was mediocre.
Travelling Europe for nearly 4 months and this is by far the most unwelcoming reception we've received. On arrival the young woman simply took the money and walked away, no thank you or any sort of explanation about the site or services. This rudeness continued. View is fabulous and the price is fair, however, I'd recommend spending your money where you're welcomed and appreciated.
Nice host. We ate goulash—it was very, very delicious.
