We did not spend the night here, but there were a couple of motorhomes parked that did. In the morning we moved from the motorhome parking area to this one to have breakfast with sea views, and left it parked while visiting the town. Parking was free. It is appreciated that there are no prohibitions, very different from Saint-Jean-de-Luz, where there are prohibitions everywhere for parking and driving.
Very nice location directly on the coastal road. Parking was easy and free at the beginning of October. At night the road has little traffic, and the sound of the surf was more prominent, perhaps even welcome. You have to expect morning commuter traffic. We would park there again anytime.
Very beautiful, quiet bay with a lovely little beach. Parking along the road was still free and there was plenty of space. This is how to enjoy it.
There were plenty of places along the road. Waking up with a sea view was very pleasant. However, the road is busy, so it is quite noisy. Bring earplugs. Free outside the season.
Parking motorhomes in the lane above the main road is no longer permitted. There is a lot of traffic and activity on the main road. Apparently not suitable for staying overnight.
Perfect place if you are not bothered by passing cars. Water point and toilets at the nearby cemetery, available even in winter; visited on January 18.
A perfect place to go to the beach and enjoy the sea. The police told us that we could not park on the sea-facing side, but could park on the other side of the street. We moved and everything was perfect during the day, paying €1.60 per hour.
By the road but also by the sea. Magnificent view. Great for an aperitif, less so for sleeping because there is traffic. Since places are expensive in the region, it is not bad. Park in front of the cemetery wall so as not to inconvenience the locals who live on the seafront and do not appreciate a wall of motorhomes in front of their homes. We were very courteously asked to move.
A resident just spoke to us; he does not want to have white boxes parked in front of his window every day, so we drove to the other side of the road. That is less pleasant, however, because the passing cars are then directly beside the window.
Street parking, very quiet and easy to park outside the season. Water point by the beach.
Quiet place where you can hear only the waves. The only drawback is that if you cannot find a space near the bar, you will have to park on the main road, where there is some traffic.
We arrived at 5 p.m. and were only shopping for half an hour, but the motorhome had already been broken into.
Paid parking with a parking meter!
Paid until 7:30, very quiet this time of year and a nice spot for a stopover
